Paleteria Y Neveria El Arco De Michoacan - Fresno

This is a great place for antojitos but my boyfriend and i went an hour before the time posted for closing on their site and they were already closing up the store. The times are a bit inconsistent but it's great service and food when it's open.

This place has amazing paletas that I can only hope to find in other cities I visit. I have gotten the pineapple chili, limon chamoy (my fave), strawberry cheesecake (milk ones cost over $1 more than then the water-based ones), guava, and other fruit ones. I was amazed at how the fruit bars have real chunks of fruit in them and how they are really fresh. The guava ones though have the chunks of seeds that can be coarse like the real fruit so it's something to thing about before buying. The pineapple chunks are really good but almost too many chunks of pineapple (basically like eating frozen chunks of pineapple). The bars were pretty fairly priced at around $2-3 per bar, so getting 4 water-based ones cost $8-9. My biggest issue with this place is that customer service is spotty. When I came in the first time I was not greeted (though others who spoke Spanish behind me were). And most annoyingly is the paleta bar is near the back and so most people are getting sundaes and ice cream near the front so staff will actually serve people who come behind you if you don't assert yourself and say you got there first. There needs to be a better system logically.

I come here almost every Sunday. The quality of their ice creams are top tier. It always tastes so fresh. Never freezer burnt. But my all the time favorite thing here is the hot Cheetos esquites. For $5.50 you get a good amount. They layer the corn, cheese, and hot Cheetos so you're always getting a bite of everything. The staff is always welcome and friendly. I've never had a problem or issue here. It's a must try.

I have been to plenty of stores where there is Mostly or ONLY girls working & they are usually stuck up and rude and this store has the NICEST girls working there. Ive gone there 3 times and every time I get treated so nicely!!!! They go out of their way to satisfy their customer. && their aguas are HOME MADE!!!! Lol not the cool aid cr** they sell at other neverias. Highly recommend!!!
