P&M BBQ SPOT

This bbq spot is a hidden Gem in Fresno. The chicken and Tri Tip Sandwiches are delicious, the bread has a freshly baked texture. Corn bread, greens and the Mac are good with the combo. The cashier is polite and professional. The outdoor patio area is nice and quiet during lunch time.

Four stars for the service: friendly and quick. But the food was just ok. It's been a over a year since we've stopped here. My husband used to stop here regularly for lunch and would sometimes bring me leftover bbq and it was good. BBQ Bob is located in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It's a renovated house, they've removed all landscaping in the front and installed cement with tables and benches. There is a covered area to order your food.This visit i called in our order and my husband picked up. I ordered their Thursday special: rib sandwich, one side (I chose greens) and a drink. $9, I think which is a great lunch price. When I asked if they had unsweetened tea, I should have asked if they have fresh brewed tea because he meant they have lit on tea in cans. Oh well. I did not enjoy the greens at all, they were a bit bitter. There are a million ways to cook greens so I just didn't get lucky. The rib sandwich was tender rib meat off the bone, tossed in a good amount of bbq sauce and in a soft hoagie bun. They were not stingy with the meat (it's not overloaded either) and I loved that soft bun. I would have loved the sandwich so much more except I'm a weirdo that doesn't really care for bbq sauce all over my meat. Next time I'll know to ask for it on the side. My husband loved his 3 meat plate with one side (baked beans).So, overall, food 3.5 stars and service 4 stars.

I came to BBQ Bob on 08/10/22 as I needed to take care of an incident that occurred. Upon arrival I noticed how CLEAN and beautiful the grounds were! I thought to myself how come I've NEVER seen this cute place! Upon arrival there were two customers ahead of me and we chatted a bit. I asked to speak to the manager which I believe her name was Pamela. The most sweetest lady ever. Staff informed me she will be right out and guess what BOB came out and greeted me as well. The hospitality is was AMAZING and they took my concerns seriously. They took the time and I let them know I was happy to be here and glad the situation happened or I would never known about this place. Bob informed me they have been open since November 2020. I'm disappointed that Bobs is not on the map especially being a Black Owned Business! You can tell the pride in the place is THERE. Very pleasant experience and beautiful. I was lucky enough to try the BBQ and it is reasonably priced! The GOOD part was that the BBQ was AMAZING when I say AMAZING it was DELICIOUS. My mouth is already watering for those ribs I had. Probably one of the best RIBS I had and meat as well. My family was able to sample a little of it and it was GONE in seconds. We are planning on returning soon as the flavors was delicious and the BBQ was on point - that Smokey flavor !!!! I liked the sweet potato pie which was delicious and they also have peach cobbler !!!I'm putting them on the map because they deserve it! The food speaks for itself! I will be back soon as the dude wants to try it he was upset I didn't share xD. They are having new hours starting soon! Which is perfect for my work schedule and family day's schedule too! Definitely recommend !!If you are in the mood for BBQ definitely give them a try or have them cater your next event and support local!!!

I ordered a 3 meat plate with 2 sides. The full meal was 2 slices tri-tip, 2 pork ribs, 2 dark meat chicken, corn bread and a drink for $21. Not a bad deal for bbq. All the meat was tender and juicy. I'm not huge on sweets beans or beans in general but I'll take seconds on their baked beans. Not the best bbq I've had but I'll eat here over a few bbq chain restaurants.

This restaurant is top ranked in bbq in this town. The service is excellent! The food is even better than the service and that's saying a mouthful. I had the 3 meat combo with 2 sides and some peach cobbler. The crust on the cobbler was amazingly delicious. On my combo I had the hot link which was delicious and I had the tri tip which was also delicious and I had the ribs which were my favorite. For my sides I had the amazing greens and the macaroni n cheese. Everything including the cornbread was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is not the easiest to find! Waze helped me get there! Upon arriving a nice older man greeted me and was very welcoming. It's a regular family home made into a restaurant. They have a big bbq area set up. They have tables to where you can sit and enjoy if you would like. I went up to the window and ordered a bbq chicken sandwich combo. It comes with a drink of your choice and a side. I asked for a diet soda, but they do not carry that so I picked a water. I asked what the most popular side was and the worker told me Mac N Cheese so I picked that one. I also ordered cornbread. It looked good! I waited a short time and my order was ready. Got it and left. I split everything to give the other half to my mother to try. The chicken sandwich half with their bbq sauce added was really tasty! It had the yummy BBQ flavor! Mac N Cheese was cheesy goodness! The cornbread was flavorful and really good too! Good service and lunch! Recommended!

Definitely a refreshing stop after a long day of work. As a Southerner, I judge my BBQ & greens pretty harshly, but I was absolutely satisfied by the smoky Mac and cheese, meaty greens, and spicy smoked Ribs & Chicken. We received hearty portions with plenty to take home. I wish the meat in the greens didn't have bones in it, but I get they use scrap meat for it. The cornbread also was a bit dry, but I'm sure that's the style out West. We chatted with the owner Bob who was super friendly and authentic while sitting in a shady "front-yard" style dining area which was plenty cool. We'll definitely be back for some more of that peach cobbler!

I am a huge fan of slow cooked BBQ. This was my 3rd attempt to eat here as the two previous attempts, it was closed.The stand is all outdoor. The staff is attentive in helping adjust the umbrellas, but that's about all they can do. Brisket is great here. The spices mixes with the natural juices making for a true melt-in-your-mouth experience. I'd come back just for that.I am a big fan of hot links. I had to add one to my order to try. I was not disappointed. I got a side of baked mac and cheese. It was like a cheese and noodle casserole. The cheese was nice and flavorful. It was pretty good. I saw a lot of items on the menu that I want to try. Most likely, I will take my order home.

Terrible service, Terrible food. Why do people hire such mean people for customer service. The lady was talking on the phone and when she got to me, it was like a movie skit how horrible she was, she plated my food like I was a dog. Another time I went, ten minutes before they opened, old fossils standing next to piping hot BBQ wouldn't make me a plate, I showed them a fist full of money, I wanted to surprise my co worker's with BBQ, they yelled at me and said, 10 minutes. So I went down the street and bought from another business. Allergic to money West Fresno black business owners must be.
