This very big RV park that has lots of great full hook-up spots under beautifully trimmed pine trees. Big pool and all amenities (incl. fast wifi) are nice and well maintained by hardworking staff. Right near Bass Lake - in fact, a beautiful hiking trail leads you down to a hidden cove for swimming. Forget "roughing it" outdoors, try LOVING IT at Outdoorsy.

The rv park itself is really nice. However the spaces are a bit lame.It felt very safe here, it's walking distance to shops, cute little spot. However the pull through spaces are VERY close together... and they happened to put me next to the only other person using a pull through space which was not the end of the world but it would have been nice to be a bit spread out since it was close quarters. Back in spaces looked a bit nicer... but I can't back up my trailer solo, and solo traveling was what I was doing. Also the pull through spots were on gravel so it was pretty tricky to make my trailer level.I'd stay here again, but for the price I think they could do a bit better. Even adding mini privacy walls around the hook ups to block a little view from the neighbors would have been nice. Felt like my neighbors got a great view of me every time I walked by because I was inches from their site.

Outdoorsy took over, basically kicked all the members to the curb and significantly raised prices. We ended up forfeiting our membership after many many years. We've driven through the park a few times since and it still looks run down, out dated and just not worth the cost of what they are charging. We mostly only go to Flying Flags Avila and other higher end resorts now.

Okay RV resort with cabins near Bass Lake. Location is great, but most spots are lacking shade, fire pits or barbecues. They do have a playground, dog parks restaurant and a shaved ice truck was on site during our stay. They're also about 1/2 mile away from the pines resort and boat rentals.Booking was very easy and when I wanted to add an extra day all I had to do was call. Friendly staff and when we arrived after hours our info was conveniently available on the billboard. Our spot was however more of a 2 star and that's if I close one eye and tilt my head. For $99 a night it was quite lacking compared to other locations. It was semi-rock covered dirt, small and very difficult to park a trailer on. The dead-end road and the spot were opposite facing in how a trailer is maneuvered, everything is packed in and the spot was cut into a hill. It's a doable spot for an RV, but tight for a 26' trailer and truck without blocking the driveway of the spot above. The spots for the members were paved, flat and looked nice.

We had such a great experience here! First & foremost, the bathrooms & showers were so clean, I really appreciated that aspect. We didn't have to pay extra to utilize those amenities & the water was also hot! After a day at the lake, it was nice to feel clean and refreshed! We stayed in a tent & our spot (every spot actually) has a water spigot & 2 electrical outlets. Definitely bring your extension cable & a fan. There's a pool and clubhouse, though we didn't use those (too busy sightseeing & exploring). My kids did use playground a bit though & they enjoyed that part. Charcoal grills or fires are NOT allowed so we did have to get a propane cooktop which was fine. Our site was shaded and right next to the trail to the cove. The other campers were friendly but everyone kept to themselves for the most part. I would definitely come back here with my family again. We felt safe & we didn't have to worry about leaving our things behind while we were traveling to Yosemite and the lake. Do be aware of bears in the area & have your food in your vehicle. Overall, great experience! Looking forward to our next one already.

Wow what a memorable experience. My original plan was to visit Lake Tahoe with my family however due to a change of plan we decided to visit Yosemite and at the last minute rented an rv and stumbled upon Bass Lake RV resort. Now called outdoorsy. We saw 2 bears, an America eagle, a fox, blue jays, Red Robin's and bass fish on the lake. The surroundings are beautiful and the locals/visitors were kind and respectful. I would def visit here again and I would recommend anyone to stop by this hidden gem.

There's truly not a better place in the area for families especially. During busy summer and holiday weekends there's always amazing activities for kids. Aside from the planned activities there's also a pool, board games, the kids playground, pool tables, shuffleboard, ping pong and foosball. We love staying in their cozy updated cabins, and eating at the little cafe that often serves food on weekends. Everyone that works there is fantastic, especially Leslie! We love everything about this place!

Book directly through the campground office. The people on site are much nicer and more helpful than the online site which doesn't even send a receipt or email once the site is reserved. We are here before the season really starts. So it's pretty quiet and there a lot of maintenance going on to upgrade the pools and bathrooms. It's all good to cold anyway. Nice short walk from Duecys restaurant and a few shops.

The park was not as advertised. The photos were misleading. The pool was closed for construction and the fire pit was cordoned off. I asked for a discount since these amenities were not available. A discount was denied, but they offered to comp me a future stay. Surely, they know travelers from out of state will not be returning. Makes them seem generous while they don't have to make it right. They performed no grounds repairs after a winter flood. Dried rivulets were pervasive in the campsites creating tripping hazards. Picnic tables were washed downstream and just left there. We had to move one into our campsite.Campsites were ridiculously, dangerously close together. We had etiquette-challenged neighbors who don't know that you're not supposed to leave your sewer line attached. When we exited our RV, we had to avoid stepping on their sewer line.Campers arrived on the other side of us right at dusk. The aforementioned washed away picnic tables were blocking the hookups for their site. The driver was trying to maneuver his trailer around the picnic table and almost hit our trailer. We had to go out to tell him he needed to move the picnic table in order to park. They had two tables due to the floating picnic table scenario, and he only moved one. He parked crooked, and he put out his awning in the dark, hitting our trailer. Their patio carpet covered their power and water lines. Due to the ridiculous narrowness of the sites, we had to flatten our backs against our trailer and sidle along it to avoid stepping on their carpet. The only room you have outside your trailer on either side is 18".There is nothing whatsoever "superior" about the "superior sites".The laundry building is placed on 4 x 4 posts. One corner was either inadvertently damaged, or it was vandalized. It will be falling soon. The lodge is cute and would be comfortable if it didn't smell like stale smoke. The chimney probably hasn't been cleaned since the 1960s. It doesn't draw, and the hearthstones are blackened from smoke rolling out of the front of the fireplace. It's a fire hazard. The campground hosts did not enforce the quiet hours. One particular group was loud until midnight. The people in their party communicated by shouting throughout the park. Their kids repeatedly screamed just to hear their own voices. Any wildlife within a two-mile radius vanished. The grounds were in need of maintenance, and not just the ankle-busting dry creek beds that ran through the campsites. It had a general rundown appearance. On the plus side, the bathrooms and showers were nice. The office people were mostly friendly, and the store had good merchandise. Ice was always available. The full-time residents of the campground keep mostly clean sites, with one or two exceptions. You can walk to Bass Lake where there are gift shops, a grocery store, marina, restaurants, hotel, and a post office.
