Great craft beer bar in the middle of figarden with amazing customer service and top of the line selection of cans and draft beer. Any place that has cellarmaker on tap and in cans is doing something right and I've been going to OotB for years since they opened up. They have an outdoor seating area and is very dog friendly, they also have TV for sports games!

if you dont want to read this whole thing, save yourself the time and just head on over to goldsteins.. BUT if you wanna know a crazy weird thing...My brothers went here for a drink last week. The lady with curly hair and braces forgot to id them. She came out after serving them demanding id. they both showed her their valid ids (my brothers are a 32 yr old and a 28 yr old). Then she came back out 5 min later accusing them of never showing id. Then she took their drinks and called security and got them kicked out... they offered refunds and then later reversed them... i went in with one brother to ask for yet again a refund and ask how this even makes any sense and the curly haired girl and owner said theyd review security footage and decide if they deserve refunds... then as we left they said we are never welcome back...?!?!my friend also went in to ask for an application and they refused to give her the application and the manager's info...they said theyre a tight knit family there but shes black so you do the math...we grew up in the neighborhood and have always enjoyed the community here but this place is weird and unpleasant. beers gross too so it aint even worth it. There is even camera footage to prove all of this which you the owner refused to brandish. Time to buy some yellowbellies and enjoy the comfort of anywhere but this place:-)

Great brewery to hang out with friends. Whenever my group of friends has a outing in river park we will usually start here as they have a great open area with plenty of seating and some great beers on tap. The bartenders are always nice and are willing to explain the beers and let you try them out before having to commit to the full glass. I believe on Friday nights they have live music which is always a treat to catch. I highly recommend this place.

Ootb is my go-to beer spot. 32 beers on tap of every style that your heart could desire. Don't fall in love with any one beer though, because chances are it will be gone in 3 or 4 days and you might not see it until next year (assuming it ever gets brewed again). The board is organized with the light beers in the smaller numbers (lagers, pilsner, marzens, ambers, pales etc) in the spots 1-7, moving into west coast ipas typically in spots 8-11, New England ipas 12-15, and some double and triple ipas filling up the 16-18, followed by a stout or porter, some sours, a seltzer or a cider or two. They also have two nitro handles closing out the board in 31-32. So chances are you will find a pour of something you will like. You can get a small 5 oz pour or a flight board to sample a variety if you can't make up your mind. Servers will also lead you in the right direction or offer up a smidgen to sample before you buy. They also have a huge fridge with probably 50 different beers that you can drink on premises or take home. We are talking some of the best breweries in CA and the occasional out of state freshie - Humble Sea, Cellarmaker, Pure Project, Shred, Great Notion, Fieldwork, Burning Barrel, Moonraker, Bottle Logic, Ghost Town, Around the Horn, SARA, Alvarado St, Other Half, Machinehead, North Park, Barebottle, weldwerks...the list goes on and on. Heavy hitters! As you can tell, I love this place, so I thought I would give Evan, the owner, his flowers for bringing his business to Fresno.I wrote a review when they first opened, but I thought I should update it since a few things have changed. Here are the most helpful updates - 1. Wine is no longer served here, but they have a variety of ciders, seltzers, sours, saisons, N/A options, and even some sodas varieties in a mini fridge2. Families are welcome on the patio! All the negative reviews on here are from disgruntled parents from the first year because kids were not allowed originally. I find it strange that someone would bash a business because they enforce a law. Write your congressmen if you have an issue, not a negative Yelp review lol. But I digress. They were able to expand their patio, serve food, and get the correct license to allow adults to bring kids. Cool! If you do bring them, just make sure and shut them up while I try to enjoy my beer. Haha, thanks in advance!Everything else is pretty much the same. Still pup friendly, still able to bring in outside food or order an empanada or chips/ salsa, still the great service that you expect from the GM Nick, or Greg who has been a beertender since they opened. Don't forget to admire the chalkboard outside on the walk up to the building. My girlfriend designed one! She is 5 star, too.

Casual atmosphere and friendly staff. The patrons seemed to enjoy conversations and laughter filled the background. We sat at the outside patio and even though it's a hot summer day in Fresno the breeze, shade, and cold beer hit the spot!

This bar was super cute and well lit. The bar staff were amazing and very happy to help answer any questions. They let us sample a few drinks to ensure we ordered something we would like. The drinks I got, which I loved, were the hard root beer and day cay golden ale. Another one I sampled that was amazing was the okie dokie. The Flatbread pizza was delicious, too. It's a bit small for the size, but the flavor made up for it. The only bad thing is that there is only 1 bathroom inside the bar.

My husband and I met some friends at Out of the Barrel for a drink before an outing on a Thursday wvening. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. The bar was completely full but there were other tables inside that were empty. They have an outdoor patio area that had quite a few people sitting at even though it was quite hot out. I think they had some fans helping with the heat. They have a large selection of beers on tap from lots of different breweries. My husband loved that, I was a bit overwhelmed but still nice having a selection. They also have a large fridge with a bunch of canned beer. For beer enthusiasts, this would be a great place to get some different beers to take home! Inside they have a few large screen TVs without the sound on you can watch. The ambiance was very laid back and it wasn't too loud or busy. The service was very quick! We hung out for an hour before moving on to the rest of our night. We had a very pleasant experience and will need to come back to try their food.

Update to my recent visit to the establishment. I was very disappointed to see they no longer have a wine option. The person behind the bar said they no longer serve wine, due to the move to make it family friendly. She said it occurred several months after the upgrade to their patio. I asked her if it was because of the percentage of alcohol in wine vs beer. She agreed. I never see families with children inside or outside. Maybe they had some unfortunate episode? I go to have a glass of wine while my friends enjoy beers or wine. Now, I really don't have an option that I enjoy. I am not a beer drinker, for the most part. I'm sad.Actually, the site on Yelp states they serve wine, beer, cider, and kambucha!

Stopped here for a quick beer and snack on our way from OC to Bass Lake, so much better than the Subway/Green Burrito/TacoBell/Gas station places along the freeway. Savana was all smiles and great attitude as she went through the beer list, put up with my shenanigans trying to get something for free, and gave us the details about the upcoming beer festival. She was so awesome I risked going to jail by picking a flower from Jack's garden and giving it to her on our way out. Only a few minutes off the freeway, a very warm and welcome place to go when you're in Fresno.
