Osaka Hibachi & Japanese Cuisine

The food here is great! Everything was cooked perfectly(even better than most every teppanyaki restaurant). Their portions were huge! I had enough for 2 meals. I know their location is a little odd, but that shouldn't stop you from trying the place! I'd say come here and skip your teppanyaki restaurant for their food!

Good food, fast service. Clean, bright and simple modern interior...Super large portions of the bacon fried rice, wish veggie portion was at least larger. Flavorful on its own, sauce on side compliments the food. Good deal all in all. Location is kinda in the sketchy parts lol

Osaka is a solid addition to this little strip on Maroa! The service was attentive but not overly so. Each hibachi combo comes with salad, bacon fried rice, and grilled veggies. I went with salmon and scallops and my husband went with kalbi beef. The scallops were very good with a fresh taste. The salmon was cooked well with a light sauce (my preference). My husband's kalbi was a bit too saucy for our liking and on the sweet side. My husband and I didn't notice any bacon in the fried rice.All of the food was tasty, and the price was just right ~$20 per plate.

It was empty when I walked in around 11:30am and didn't get too busy while I was there. You order at the counter and food comes in to go boxes. Girl at the counter was patient and helpful. Hibachi was about a 30min wait but food came hot! Even the sushi roll was too hot to chew. Everything was tasty and well priced. Music was also a nice touch! We found ourselves singing! Would return for hibachi plate and sushi.

Delicious food and amazing options on menu. Great atmosphere and great service. Looking forward to coming back.

I went there on a weekday for the lunch special, ordered to go, it wasn't very busy when I arrived and placed my order, but soon after a bunch or workers came in and placed several orders and the food was being brought out to the people who ordered after me, usually I don't mind but I was working this day and i had already been waiting 45 min, so I asked why my order was taking so long? I showed them my receipt and they said to give them 5 min. Got my food went to work, and sat down to eat, food was salty, the fried rice was hard and didn't taste very good, i actually didn't eat more than 3 spoonfuls. The lunch came with 3 shrimp, some chicken and some thinly cut beef, some zucchini and mushrooms and a side of sauce. The price wasn't bad 16.99 or so but it is bad when you pay that money and don't end up eating your food lol.

8/17/24 Getting lunch! I called and ordered their Yakitory chicken and shrimp Yakatory appetizers to split for lunch. The worker was very kind and said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I went in to get it. Restaurant is very nice. Clean & safe. Greeted upon entering and worker was very kind. Order was ready. I paid for it and wished a good day! =)Lunchtime! Order split. Chicken & shrimp Yakatory 1/2 was Really DELICIOUS! Flavorful & Great! Mother said her portion was Great too! Great service and Great shrimp & chicken Yakatory. Highly recommended!

I ordered the NY Steak & Scallops. I'm going to be leaving an honest review and I just hope the owners can improve on what my comment is please. I had paid $30 for this. I didn't realize it was $28.99 as I didn't see it on the yelp review photos. Please have a look at the meat and scallop portion of my food I had received. I wouldn't pay even $20 for a plate with little meats. I also wasn't aware I wasn't going to be receiving a salad as well because I had called back and asked if they were suppose to give out a salad with it, she had told me no because the customers didn't like it. It could've been communicated more properly business to customer and be accommodated for any advertisement that is put up and not given. The rice is good, the scallops were cooked and seasoned perfectly, the steak was cooked great but the seasoning fell off and was bland. Let's just say I had high hopes for this place and I thought I was going to be getting my moneys worth for $30 and I'm sad to say I will not be going back for after this plate costed me an arm and a leg for the small portion I had paid for. I go to Japanese Kitchen all the time and the amount of meat they give you leaves you with leftovers and it's so much worth the money. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

This little Habachi sit down restaurant was delicious! You get all the tasty items you would typically order at Teppanyaki without having to go sit at a cooking table. They have a few tables inside but you can also order ahead for pick up. We ordered the gyoza, calamari rings and edamame as an appetizer. Then the hibachi special that came with a small salad, bacon fried rice, sautéed veggies chicken, shrimp, and steak cooked to your liking. For the drink, we got their delicious Thai tea. Needless to say we will be back.

I am disappointed by the timing and service. The food is very yummy and flavorful however the reason why I chose here over a traditional place is for the time convenience. If I wanted to wait 1 hour for my food I'd go to teppanyaki. I feel like if I'm paying $116.00 for food that I'm going to receive cold. My appetizers have been sitting on the counter while the remainder of my food is being cooked. The cashiers look confused and do not give a realistic estimate of time. If I would have know. I would have waited this long, I would have gone elsewhere.
