Horrible communication skills. They will make you feel confident in them then disappear & not complete the job. We had a water pipe burst in the middle of the night & vacuumed water all night by ourselves. Olsens water mitigation team came out the following afternoon & drilled holes into my walls and both bathroom vanities. Done in October it is 12/30/21 & they refused to come fix the holes once the insurance company paid them for the water mitigation. Thet also cut out sections of carpet leaving a edges. I tripped on it, falling and injuring my ankle. Their response was to remove ALL of the carpet in my house with no dates for flooring installation to be completed. I'd give a 0 star if it was an option. The water mitigation team were efficient & nice but did not explain the process as the holes in the walls & both bathroom vanities. Basically they droll holes & the customer is expected to fi d a solution. Terrible communication skills by Cody Olsen.

Olsen Construction did an incredible restoration/ remodel on our kitchen. All of the contractors that came out to do their specific job were professional, polite and most importantly respectful of our home. Cody saw the job all the way through from beginning to end. I really appreciated all his I put and expertise. Our kitchen looks a million times better!

Olsen just completed our remodel and did a fantastic job. Came in right at budget. Raised the ceiling in the kitchen too!

My parent's house had a pipe break when they were away on vacation. The water damage covered more than half of the house and much was completly ruined. 5 PM on a Sunday, I had my mom call Cody with Olsen Contructions and they got people out there right away to start the dry out. Blair also came out to assess the damage and help walk my mom and dad through the next steps and how things would progress. During this time, my mom also decided to remodel and Olsen Contruction was happy to help. Their input on materials and where to buy them was pricesless. They were efficient and we had great communication. Cody is the son of the owner and he goes above and beyond for his customers. We always recommend Olsen Construction because they are good at what they do, are efficient, and have always been very fair. It is hard to find a good contractor who you can trust and who is responsive. Don't give the "chain" dry out people your business. This locally owned family business does it better and the money supports an awesome family.

We had a minor water over flow damage in our upstairs bathroom and I called Olsen Construction and I'm so glad I'd called them. Th first restoration company I called was beyond ridiculous to dry out my upstairs and down stairs they wanted to charged me way more than Olsen Construction. So I made an appointment with Blair the owner he seemed like a chill, cool guy who wrote up everything taking his time and effort to give me an actual estimate. Unlike the first restoration company I called they didn't do what Blair did Blair seemed more concerned than the first restoration company I called. Any ways the dry out from Olsen Construction was beyond very reasonable priced and I Thank them for being a honest, caring company. The only other thing I don't like was there were 2 occasions that the dry out crew came to my house unannounced which was kinda weird & creepy but they were very nice. So if your house or apartment has water damage be sure to call Olsen Construction first you will thank me later.

We had extensive water damage from a broken hot water line in the foundation that had to be rerouted through the attic and walls. Olsen accepted the job as general contractor and scheduled work to correct our damage. Though no fault of their own, the process had been seemingly slow due to work load, severity of damage, and scheduling problems. That seems to be the "nature of the beast". Had a reroute not been necessary, this project could have been completed in a few weeks instead of just short of 3 months.All subs were expert, courteous, honest, and mindful of property. But, as can be imagined, job requirements between them do not always coincide . That is where the general has to coordinate their schedules considering each of their other contract obligations. At best, it isn't easy and that is what extends the time required to complete the total job.Cody Olsen was the general in charge of the work and he was easy to work with. We felt as though he accommodated us as much as he could given the volume of work he was managing. As of today, all work has been completed except for the minor touch up painting in the house and the more extensive painting on the exterior wall of the kitcheWe would definitely recommend this service with the understanding that oftentimes, completion of a job may require an extended period of time.

Called Cody Did a job on one of our rentals, he was the most expensive, paid him more thatn the insurance company approved, his work sub standard charges for everything plus amarkup that the insurance company did not want to pay. As someone else said communications skills and attitude for the customer is zero.We used him on another rental we have in Fresno he claims to be there 8 hrs on the job have a statement from my renter who works from home he was only there about 1 1/2 hours, charged for 8.Cody is cocky and when we called to go over billing threatened to take us to collection and put a lean on our property. ( i am checking with the collection agency that he said he turn it into if thi is the case my attorney will follow up for damages) We paid him in full just like the last job, but never again. It's time for me to get a statement from another licenced contractor and take it up with the state licensing board. No respect at all for customers and takes advantage of Senior citizens.Do yourself a favor don't use them see the other reviews here as well!

I cannot say enough good things about every single person involved with Olsen Construction and Restoration. Everyone treated me with kindness and respect and the upmost professionalism. I didn't think it was possible, but Olsen Construction took the horror of a water leak that deposited a flood of water, insulation, and drywall down on my living room; and turned into a dream come true. The room now looks better than it did before the leak and I can't even tell there was once a big hole in my ceiling. I am now enjoying my "good as new", freshly painted room and reminiscing about how Olsen Construction transformed this into a positive experience.

Valentines day 2015 was a day to remember. My husband got up early and went downstairs, only to find that our entire lower floor was flooded!! I was in such shock that I forgot to take a photo but can still remember the glow of the light in, the entry way, on the water. Who to call on a Saturday to come out and handle this situation? I had used Olsen Restoration, about 15 years ago, for a minor flooding issue. So immediately called and Mike Loughney answered the phone. Withing an hour 3 guys were out to suck up the water and start drying the house out with the infamous noisey drying equipment. A few days later the insurance adjuster was here along with Mike Loughney and Blair Olsen. Decided since the house was a mess it was a perfect time to remodel after 25 years. So Olsen Construction was hired. I have had a great relationship with everyone, subs, carpenters, plumber, painters and bookkeeper and everyone that has been worked on the project. It has been a long process, 9 months, I keep adding this and that and we decided to remodel the upstairs too. I have enjoyed every moment of working with Olsen Construction. Blair turned our job over to his son Cody and our tastes were similar. So bead-board, ship-lap, and unusual bathroom vanities were a go!! I wouldn't hesitate to hire Olsen Restoration and Construction to handle any restoration or construction projects in the future. In fact after I recouperate from having this 9 month project, we are going to start on the outside of the house. Looking forward to having the "Olsen Crew" around again.

I've used this company on a few occasions now. Always very happy with how well things turn out and how kind the employees are.
