Old Town Buffet

The unbelievably poor service is matched with unbelievable food handling. This place will be shut down on it's next visitFrom the Health Dept. They have got food being held at room temperature for long periods of time. My friend and I dished up, but just ended up setting our plates down and walking out. The food looked repulsive. I'm glad I didn't eat it, and more happy to not have paid for the slop. If I were able to, this place would get negative stars.

Avoid like the plague. Food was crap. Choices weren't labeled and selection was random and not much to chose from Waitress came by with cake. It had nuts and I'm deathly allergic so I told her I was and no thanks and she said I could scrape them off. She's either an idiot or evil. Either way it was painful to pay for that crap. several people walked out while we were there and I wish we had.

This is NOT a buffet! It's a regular, run-of-the-mill, less than spectacular, in fact less than bad, wannabe "country diner". Upon walking into this establishment, we were met with the smell of fish -- not cooked fish -- just straight up raw fish! The wait staff were less than enthusiastic seating us, however, I must say watching would-be diners being pursued by the hostess was amusing. People would come in, look around, or smell around, notice there was no buffet, and then walk right back out, with the hostess hot on their heels. We were hot and tired so we figured we'd give the joint a chance. Not worth it at all. Even the tea tasted like fish water. We asked for soda, which fortunately did not smell or taste of fish, but we did notice that the wait person didn't check the tea pot or smell the tea herself, so for the next diner who came in and ordered tea, sorry, we tried!The food was mediocre at best, nothing was seasoned. Dreary, dirty, sad little place. Oh, and NO BUFFET!

We had a terrible experience here. We sat ourselves, got our own menus and didn't receive our coffee after 30 minutes of waiting. Poorly staffed for a Sunday and rude service. The bus boy was the only one working! We ended up walking out of the restaurant and going someplace else. We will never again return here and make sure to tell everyone we know about how terrible this place is.
