I love the feel of this place! It struck us as a community spot... lots of people seemed to know each other. The waitress was so super friendly (a theme we saw everywhere in Clovis). My hubs and I both had crispy chicken salads; we were both quite pleased! The chicken was in fact crispy and had a good flavor, and the salad portions were fresh. Good ranch too!Convenient location in Old Town!

Make a reservation, they make sure your party is comfortable and the staff are amazing an and friendly.. The food is delicious and you get plenty, from the 500 club sandwich, to the steaks and burgers and salads all amazing.. Ambiance is Country Western home town .. I definitely recommend this 500 Club and will be returning again with friends and family..

Order off the specials board! It's always amazing tonight we had the porterhouse and lamb chops. Great quality food and the chef cares about what he cooks. Bell pepper soup was so good it was eaten before I thought to take a picture. This place is a gem. Good food, good service - it hit every time.

This is only my 2nd time here. The first time was nearly 20 years ago and I vowed never to return after that time, but friends were raving about it so I decided to give it a second chance. We arrived around 6:25pm (I was texting my friend when we parked) and were seated right away. Still plenty of empty tables. We waited 20+ minutes for a server to even acknowledge us. Did not receive water or drinks for more than 40 minutes after we were seated. The waitress was a little rude, probably because I called her out for waiting on someone else who arrived 10-15 minutes after us. Ordered a salad and an appetizer. Did not get our food until 7:15. The food was ok but definitely not worth another trip. We finally paid for our meal and got the credit card back after 1 hour and 40 minutes. Again, for a salad and an appetizer. I should've stuck with my original vow to never return. Won't be back.

Food is delicious. I usually order the BLT half sandwich with the salad and add turkey and avocado. If they have Chile verde their Chile verde nachos are a must try! Service is great as well.

I love coming here! Whether it's just for a post work cocktail at the bar, casual date night, or grabbing food to-go, they never disappoint. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious, and they also have a board on the wall by the jukebox that lists daily specials! If you are a fan of Prime Rib, definitely be sure to come on Friday/Saturday to try it out!

I found myself in downtown Clovis at lunchtime the other day, so I parked my car at the first available spot and started strolling around. I had seen the 500 Club building for years and years, but never stopped in to the Bar and Grill before. It's pretty much what you would expect... Definitely an old-school vibe, folks sitting at the bar, having a mid day refreshment or lunch, a couple of tables. I opted for the small back room, which has the added benefit of being right by the kitchen, where the action is.It was about 1 o'clock, but they weren't super busy. It took the staff a little while to sort out the wiping down the table, getting water and menu, etc. I heard one of the servers mentioned something about a pastrami burger, and that definitely caught my attention. I am a big fan of the pastrami burgers at the Colorado Grill, so I thought I would see what this place had going. I treated myself to a lunchtime Modelo on draft, and pretty soon, the pastrami burger showed up. Looked good... Fresh tomato, lettuce, onion, the pastrami was a little tough, but still good. The burger itself was cooked a little more than I had asked for, but not objectionable. Sidenote: I wish, all restaurants would season their hamburger patties at some point along the way! Anyway, I digress... I enjoyed the burger very much, fries were good, well, seasoned, super hot. Server was very nice, very attentive. This is definitely a 3-4 napkin burger, by the way! I could tell that there were a lot of regulars at the spot, which I think is a really good sign. Would definitely go back next time I'm in the area. If you've never been, you should try it!
