Our group of 7 (4 adults and 3 children) came out to Noodle Q on a Saturday night around 8 pm. It was empty but that was great for us with small children. We were greeted by the server and seated. The server was very nice, and customer service was great. He allowed us to choose a kids' movie on their TV so the kids could watch. We ordered 2 bowls of the spicy beef soup in which we were able to lower the spice level to medium. That soup was so delicious and exactly what I wanted in a soup. The beef was also so tender! My husband ordered the veggie soup and said it was very flavorful. We also ordered the chicken fried rice for the kids. It was a large serving that honestly could have fed all 7 of us. The rice was also very delicious. The food wasn't oily, nor did we feel lethargic afterward. It was really great quality ma and pa food. I'm very happy I was craving soup and chose this restaurant.* After reading reviews, I'm not sure if they know that most of the time, especially in Asian restaurants, it's usually Mexicans/Hispanics who are cooking the food, and that's totally okay.

I've eaten a lot of Chinese beef noodle soup in my day. There's an idea of what it should be-- braised beef infused with flavor, light broth, rice or hand cut noodles. This was not it. Granted, I should have ordered the beef stew with tendons and that may have yielded the better beef pieces. Anyways, my beef noodle soup was a lackluster 2/5 as the beef was hard and chewy with no flavor. The soup did not have a deep braised flavor. While the homemade noodles were a nice touch, they weren't the right kind of "QQ" (the Taiwanese way of explaining chewiness quality of food). It was more like eating linguini than Chinese egg noodles which has a little more bounce to it.There are some positives though. The scallion pancake was delicious and stuffed with fresh scallions. Paired with chili oil is perfection! Portions are huge and prices are on the low end compared to other noodle soups in Fresno.

The Noodles Q Fresh House restaurant is located at the corner of an older plaza. For Saturday afternoon, the plaza and restaurant had less than 5 cars so I was a bit weary. The restaurant inside is okay. You're greeted by an enclosed kitchen and see the open floor plan with over a dozen tables. The host was nice.I was hoping for a good meal (after a long drive) but was mildly disappointed in three factors:(1) The over fried (burnt) green onion pan. It was so bad that half were uneaten.(2) The "spring rolls" were fried and not wrapped in rice paper. Huh?? Unfortunately, when I asked the server she confirmed it was the spring rolls??? I'm so confused.(3) The dried jiang-jiang mein (noodles) were drenched and already mixed so the noodles were so browned with heavily soy sauce.

Ambiance of the restaurant was nice and clean. Food was not something i'd come back to though. The spring rolls lacked some flavor and the beef from the beef noodles were tough. The flavor from the soup was okay. Not a big fan.

I was having a car-meal, so I couldn't try any of the noodle soups. I opted for the Bulgogi Beef rice bowl and fried spring rolls. The spring rolls made it into my mouth first, piping hot and crispy and delicious. I shamed my ancestors by eating the bulgogi and rice with a fork (easier to do in a car setting when trying to shovel the food down so you can complete your errands). The beef was tender and tasty, nice steamed white rice, and lots of caramelized and yummy onions. The portion size was enough for lunch, and a midnight snack later. The staff was incredibly friendly, and although I ordered at a non-meal time, the food came out fresh, hot and fast. I will be back to try other dishes.

I stopped by for dinner around 6:30 on a Thursday. When I entered, the restaurant was empty except for one table, which was my party. A sign or nah? Anyways, we ordered apps (eggrolls, wonton with hot oil and beef roll). The eggrolls were okay. I liked the beef roll and, especially, the wonton with hot oil. The wontons were probably the most flavorful out of all the apps. Next up, for entrees, we ordered the Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup and Dan Dan Noodle (dry). To all of our disappointment, both noodle dishes were bland. The beef, veggies and noodles in the Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup were good as individual ingredients. Altogether, though, it was lacking in flavor. The Dan Dan Noodles were even more lacking. I even thought adding the hot oil from the wontons to make the dish better. The service was good and our server was very attentive. I did notice that there weren't any Asian staff, though. Another sign or nah?Overall, it was an okay experience. The food and ambiance were bland. The service was good and probably the best part of the visit. Had high hopes but not itching to come back.

We were on our way to drop our youngest back up north to school and we stopped here for dinner. I actually wanted to come here a few nights prior and I told myself... we're definitely stopping here soon because of all the high ratings. I thought this was an authentic Asian restaurant, boy was I bamboozled or in the words of my kids... I was gaslit by the photos. There was zero Asians cooking or working here. The girl that waited our table was quick and efficient, but there was only another family dining in and a couple that walked in after us. First thing about Asian restaurants that are good, you can usually spot a bunch of Asians dining in, but that day, me and my family were the only Asians. The other family eating was a couple and a kid and as they were leaving they seemed related to the people running the restaurant. They brought their own rotisserie chicken from a grocery store and ate it there and then when they were done, they turned it in to the older lady in the back. Seems weird to me.As soon as my food came in, the chili wonton we bought tasted okay. The dumplings were immersed in the chili oil. Usually at dim sum houses, they just drizzle a small amount of chili garlic crunch or chili oil, but this one was served to us more like a soup. The taste was good, it wasn't fantastic, but might have been the highlight of my meal.I was super disappointed that I paid $2.00 more for extra veggies because I couldn't even put down half of the soup served to me. I got the beef soup, the noodles were made fresh and you could tell, but it wasn't cooked all the way through. I was expecting that umami flavor to come through but it just tasted like beef broth and needed more seasoning to me. My husband ordered the chili szechuan noodle soup and again lacking umami, it tasted like chili broth. My oldest ordered the bulgogi with rice and it was like the beef's you buy at the carneceria the ranchera beef and nothing like bulgogi at all.Tons of parking outside which should have been a good indication that it was not popping inside. I actually wondered if this restaurant was previously owned by someone else and then bought by new people because the food looked a little different and the pictures show an Asian guy cooking.

I was very disappointed with the fried rice combination I ordered thru DoorDash for my lunch today (March 4, 2025). It was like warmed-over leftovers that sat a while under a heat lamp and was unfit for human consumption. The meat was dried out, tough and overcooked.I was brought up to clean my plate but I wouldn't throw this out to the cats in the alley. This is no reflection on DoorDash however. And I doubt I will order anything else in the future and will be sure to discourage to-go orders.

I wanted to love this place because noodles are freshly made. Got beef noodle and bulgogi over rice but no flavor. It was a waste of money. Never coming back.
