Nikko's Salon & Spa

This place has been holding it down since day one. Even though they're a salon it's a great place to get Barber's cut. Nikko has been cutting my hair since 2012 and I wouldn't have any other way. Thank you to the entire staff for making me feel welcome

Taline Vartanian is a technician there and was nothing but unprofessional the very short time I spoke to her. She was very rude when I contacted groupon because I was unable to get ahold of her. She called me very early in the morning and was telling me it was NOT okay because now she had bad numbers on groupon etc.. Even on her Facebook account she is constantly posting complaints ABOUT HER CLIENTS, and saying she needs to be tipped and how she hates working there because people annoy her so much, it's the worst customer service I have ever seen in my entire life. It doesn't matter how "good" you are, if you are rude no one is going to want to get naked and receive a waxing service from you.

Nikkos barber shop/salon is one of the best barbers in Fresno... never disappoints, quality products and great service... been coming to Nikko for 5+ years always satisfied when I leave

For the best cuts in the 559 get with Big Mike. Been going to him for 15+ years and never disappoints. Fresh and fast SKIN fades while drinking a cold brew. Does your barber take 30 to cut your hair?! Might as well fall asleep in that chair! Mike will give you the best cut and have you out that chair in no time. Don't believe me? AWFUL, my dear friend went to this place she originally had SUPER long beautiful hair, she went in for her first lighting session and ended up burning her hair!! They tried to hide it from her too shaking my head, and then offered her free extensions and never even gave them to her!!!! Her name is TANYA don't get your hair done by her!

It's so hard to find a decent place to get your hair done. They either cut it too much or end up wanting to style your hair how they want to. From the moment I walked into the doors the ambience was very relaxing and the decor is like a modern chic look. The customer service was amazing greeted as you walk in the doors and thanked as you left.I went in just for a trim, but the hair stylist exceeded my expectations. She actually listened to what I wanted and did such an amazing job, from the wash massage and blow out it was a well needed visit. Will definitely be returning especially to try out a Brazilian blow out! My husband comes to the owner for his hair and facial hair and will not go to anyone else do to the fact that he is very knowledgeable on hair, he's fast efficient and professional. Overall great family owned buisness.

I walked in a couple times to get a quote on a hair color. The 2 times I walked in there was no hair technician. Only nail lady's and they we busy. The first time I came in I got such dirty looks from the nail lady's and no one asked if they could help me or if I had an appointment. I was disappointed because my friend had told me to come here.

Why do I have to select one star in order to write a review?!! So, I have been looking at the this "licensed cosmetologists" work on IG and her name is (or goes by) Roxanne. I thought I'd give her a try...a friend recently had her hair done by her. I have texted Roxanne a couple of weeks prior to scheduling an appointment, so when I was 'ready' she was able to fit me in the same week, on a Friday. My appointment was originally scheduled for 4:30pm, but then she texted me to see if she can move me to 5:00pm, stating she was running late...so I stated, "yes." I arrived at the salon, with no one at the 'reception' area (I'm guessing the girls that work here must take care of their own). So, I sat down for 5 mins and then texted Roxanne that I have arrived and am waiting in the waiting area. She responds by texting back, "I'll be right out." I ended up sitting and waiting until 5:20pm. A couple of women walked in and they sat down. One of the women ended up walking to the back of the salon. So, I'm still sitting there and decided to strike a conversation with the woman that was sitting next to me. I asked her if she has ever been at this salon before, she states that this is her first time and that she is actually waiting for a friend who is in the back. By this time, 5:30pm comes around, the woman that I am conversing with tells one of the staff members that I have been waiting for the past 30 minutes for Roxanne. She yells out to Roxanne that I am out here waiting for her. 5:35pm Roxanne finally comes out, weakly shakes my hand and guides me to her room to sit down...there is no client there, but another stylist is working with her client in the same room. She sits me there and states she will be right back...she returns with a staff and wallet in hand...and walks out of the room again. I have no idea what the drama was, but I have been out of patience by this time. I sit there for another 5 mins, got up and walked out. As I am on my way out, (I have no IDEA what I was thinking....but, because of my professionalism still Thanked her). I was upset at the fact that she claims to be a "licensed cosmetologist" but can't get her SHIZ together. If you knew that you could not have been able to accommodate me on that day at that hour, I would have preferred to be informed. I guess she didn't want my business. I lost 40 minutes of my life.

I went in for a pedicure, asked about the price, I was $30.00 by the front staff, cool. When I got taken back to the chair, "Suenn" ? said "do you want the $30.00 or the $50.00 pedicure ??".... really ? Upselling ? I'm a male, and didn't get my toes polished or anything... well, my big toe only.. ;-) So, stupid me, I said I just wanted her to work on the bit of calluses on my heel, and if that took the $ 50.00, so be it... after a while she said she didn't have the "stuff" for that, but if I came back next time she would. With a tip, $60.00 for a half hour pedicure, and nothing done to my heels. Guess since I'm a guy, she figured she could get away with anything, BUT, I'll never go back. Went over the Sally Beauty supply and bought a "Mr. Foot" scrub brush for $ 3.50, and worked them out in about 20 minutes myself. Fooled once...

Went to this salon and saw Paige. I dont know about the other services they offer or the other hair stylists, but this girl chopped my hair so, so bad, I cant even start to explain. If I tried to cut my own bangs I would have probably done a better job. And my hair is not forgiving at all, this cut looked like I gave scissors to a child to play with. And she didnt give me a receipt at the end. I texted her the same night and told her my hair is horrendous and she said that she couldnt fix it cause she was busy, (which was fine cause i dodnt think she was capable of fixing it anyways), and she told me that some other girl would try and fix, but I never went cause I figured i shouldnt be going back to a place that already messed it up so bad, I'd rather let it grow than go back there ever again.
