The best pre-school and daycare services in Fresno. Extremely kind & patient staff and teachers. Always clean and disinfecting during Covid-19. I wouldn't trust anyone else during these times.

If I could give this place a lower score I would. I had 3 children at this daycare and I regret leaving them here. The staff is terrible at what they do.They would always lose my kids blanket and bags.They were always short staffed. I would take them in the morning and would have to leave them with the person at the front desk because the person that was supposed to watch them wasn't there yet. My 5 year old son had his face scratched by the staff because she was holding his hands down because he was throwing a tantrum. When I asked about the staff about putting hands on my son nd restraining him Brandy replied it was their policy to do that, which i know it is against the law for them to put hands on a child.Then my other son was sent home with no diaper on because whoever changed him forgot to put one on him and I found out later when he went to the restroom in his pants at my house. Then my 1 year old daughter had hit her head on a corner of a cabinet because another infant fell on her because Shannon wasn't watching them because she said she was changing another infant at the time. Then another incident with my daughter was Shannon left the door open and another infant slammed it on my daughters finger and i had to rush her to valley childrens hospital.Shannon is the person supposed to be watching the infants and she does a very poor job at watching them and shouldn't be allowed to be watching children at all. When confronted about all the incidents that occurred,every time there was an excuse or they would try to lie and i would catch them lying about it because the staff would have different stories about what happened or they would just say sorry it was an accident. I would not leave anyone's kids here at all.

My daughter is now almost 4 and has been here since she was 10 months old. My son is almost 2 and has been here since he was 3 months. I love this daycare. Not only is it a day daycare but it is a learning facility. My daughter has learned to count to 50, her ABC's, she knows the days of the week, the months of the year in not only English but Spanish, she knows her colors, she can spell her name, she knows our phone number and address. She is beyond prepared for kinder. Thanks to NLDS

My boys have been spending their days at NLDS for about two years now. Leaving your children with someone else is always a scary thing to do, but the staff at NLDS- Figarden help make the transition a smooth one. Right when you walk in the door you are greeted by one of the friendly staff. The door to get to the classrooms is secure and requires a code to enter. The classrooms are clean and have a fun feel to them. Artwork from the children decorate the walls, throughout the center. My boys love playing on the many pieces of playground equipment outside! There are security cameras set up through out the center, which gives me that extra piece of mind that my kids are in a safe environment. I can bring my children home at the end of the day knowing that they've been well fed, educated and had fun building relationships with the other children and staff at the center. I have no doubt that I will owe the amazing staff at NLDS-Figarden a huge thanks for helping us get our boys well prepared for school. If you are searching for a safe place to care for your children while you are at work, I'd definitely recommend NLDS.

Do not take your kids to this day care. I had my daughter and the safe care. I picked her up brought her home. Come to find out my daughter. Didn't have any underwear or any diapers on. Under her shorts, they sent my daughter home 3 times like that. Stadium, my daughter did not have any available underwear or pull-ups. Which was a lie I don't know what's going on with the workers but to leave a child under the underwear list is weird. Then they proceeded to drop my child from the program when I made complaints

Not only is it overpriced, understaffed, it's also very messy. Sadly I've heard staff gossiping about children & their home life situation such as "So and so's dad is in jail" or "*childs name* is a bed wetter! Always wetting the bed and peeing everywhere" etc. I hated having to have my daughter there yet was the only place I could take her within the area. Unprofessionalism as well as trying to force feed kids to eat and if they don't eat they starve until you pick them up (instead of having an alternative like crackers bread etc) Was so glad when I took her out of there. Didn't have any field trips or anything whilst there yet paying over $700 a month ? Never again and wouldn't recommend. Expensive doesn't always equate to better

My daughter LOVES her preschool, New Life Discovery - Fig Garden! Every day she wakes up looking forward to going back to see her teachers and all of the little friends she has made since starting there. The school puts a lot of thought and effort into the activities for the kids. Each day is a new adventure for her, and I am so glad to have found a place where I have full confidence that my child will be safe, nurtured and taught the importance of respect for others and ones self. The school offers numerous programs to families so that the out of pocket cost (if any) is manageable. I was able to get my daughter started in school within a few days of first contacting them. The administrative staff made everything so easy. I just cant say enough about NLDS! Go check them out for yourself, I am sure you too will be impressed
