Wow! I love how clothes are first sorted by size! Time saver!

They still request face masks
Great way to hang pants! You can see the waistline without removing the item from the hanger.

besides turning up the awesome, these three gentlemen have dedicated their lives to economically developing the tower community.
Got this for $1 and I just saw it at another store new for $30!!! So excited.
That's cool!

Is one of my favorite places to shop thrift for clothes and shoes because they have bargain prices and unique vintage dresses for Church as well. They have had $10 days where you fill up a bag of clothes and it's only $10. I have also purchased DVD's and dishes here as well. They have done a public service by aiding people in need, and they even have a pickup service where they can come to your home with a truck for scheduling donations. You can pick up a Community Alliance (https://fresnoalliance.com/) newspaper there too, they support them. This warehouse has been in business more than a decade and I can see why, yippie!

The price increases on used donated items have gotten out of control. Jeans there now are $15 and up and I saw a used jacket today for $30? Also a used/fair looking pair of Jordans for $124? Cmon now. I'm so so disappointed with this thrift store and sad at the same time because me and my aunt have been coming here for years at least once a week because of the very reasonable prices. As of today I had enough of this taking advantage of ppl and come to find out today they are opening up another location on W. Shaw area in 2025. What does that tell you, they are doing very very well. Talking to an unanimous employee that they did not get their Christmas bonuses this year? But I bet the manager did!! And also that it's the manger raising these prices up so high. I just can't support this place anymore because thrift stores are supposed to help the ppl not help themselves and price gouge the people. Good bye Neighborhood thrift.

Absolute garbage. They should be ashamed of themselves charging high prices on donated goods. Clothes were outdated, dingy, stained, stretched out and ripped. I was referred to the 50 cent rack by an employee whom cant make in a day w/ overtime what I make in an hour.

One of my favorite pastimes is thrifting. And this is one of my favorite thrift stores. It's really close to my house, the people are friendly and I usually luck out on some great finds. Today I found a pair of brand new Old Navy pink shorts for $4.25. I've been looking for a pair of pink shorts to go with a cute sheer pink cover up - score! Oh also a brand new belt, a work out tank, and two pairs of denim shorts that I desperately needed. I wish they had more selection of men's things and housewares but oh well, they don't have control over the donations. Which reminds me: please donate any items you don't want anymore. They can give you a receipt for tax purposes and you'll feel good knowing your old stuff isn't going into a landfill. Mostly, I love NT's philosophy of not adding clothing to landfills and sustainability; we're of the same mindset lol Hope you check this place out.

this is my FAVORITE thrift store. i always find quality threads at reasonable prices. i love how they are a part of the fresno community and have social media platforms centered on uplifting the community while also educating the public about sustainability.the store is constantly supplied with fresh new items. i gravitate to clothing, however their electronics and furniture is always being scoped out by customers. i love the clothes here, i have never walked out empty handed. one downside is there are no dressing rooms, and you do have to know where their mirrors are, but i usually do a quick outfit check before making my way to the register. a plus is they have a loyalty stamp card, which is great especially if you frequent thrift stores. after 10 stamps you get a discount towards your purchase. something that is not too commons at most places. they also have dope neighborhood thrift stickers at check out because if you frequent this place you will feel part of a community and who wouldn't want to rep?! i love you neighborhood thrift! please don't ever change.

I found this place on yelp and decided to go. The parking is on the back or on the street. The place is big and has a lot of stuff. It's a little dirty could use some cleaning. The kids section was a mess. I did find two summer dresses 2 dresses were under $10. You can find something if you take the time and look.

I have heard nothing, but great things about Neighborhood Thrift Store in Tower District. I try not to write reviews unless I have been somewhere a few times. My first time there was meh. All of the furniture was outdated, broken and expensive. The second time, I paid a visit because my brother stopped by there and raved about how great it was because he found cookie cutters and purple and white air force ones. During my second trip, I found Visions cookware, but didn't buy it. I found a Lularoe Amelia dress, a gray business casual dress with a ruffled neckline and black suede high heel sandals with ankle strap. All for only $16.50. The cashier asked if I wanted a receipt and I said no because I didn't think I was going to return anything. However, the next day, I wanted to break in my heels. when I cut the zip tie, I noticed one heel was 6.5 and one heel was a 6. I was just going to try and wear it like that, but my pinky was out of the 6.5 and there was room near my heel. I took a bag of donations there and went back to get store credit for the shoes which is only $3.75. I explained to the cashier about the incorrect sizes and she went to get the manager. I said I didn't want my money back, I just wanted store credit. The manager told me they don't usually do store credit, but they will do it this one time. I told her that it wasn't my fault, it was the fault of the employee who zip tied the wrong sizes together. I didn't have my receipt, but I appreciated that she was able to look it up and reprint it. The cashier went to go help me look for a pair of the shoes in the same size, but was unfortunately unable to find some. The cashier said to me again, they will only give me store credit this one time. I explained myself again that they were the ones who ziptied two different size shoes together. This just made me feel uncomfortable, like I was trying to cheat them out of $3.75. I paid more in gas driving there. I just wanted either the same pair of shoes with both sides tge same size or something of equal value. I did hear the manager tell the cashier it was their mistake. I browsed the store and found a shirt for $3.75 and exchanged it. It's not my favorite thrift store, but it's not the worst. I love Goodwill in Clovis. NT does have everything organized by size except for shoes. Would I go back? Possibly because it's nearby, but the selections were meh and store was a little dirty. I think they overcharge for donated furniture, but their clothing and housewares is okay and I will be sure to check the sizes of the shoes and have the cashier check next time.

It is so fun and rewarding shopping at Neighborhood Thrift in the Tower District. I always seem to find something to use or display at such a low price. It's a very large store snd their merchandise is always varied and organized.
