Family dinner @nanahthong559 restaurant in Riverpark shopping center. Perfect spot to grab a quick bite before shopping around the area or to sit down, relax & enjoy a nice meal with friends & family. We enjoyed a fun outing with the family! The restaurant decor matched the Thai/Lao theme perfectly from the light fixtures to the hand painted wall art, food was delicious and service from the greeter to servers to chef was top notch. They have good amount of variety to satisfy everyone! They also have a good selection of beers & wine.Definitely recommend this restaurant

Came here twice - two different experiences but over all great Thai food! Ordered some of the same food twice and the taste was pretty consistent. First visit there was during the day, the owner greeted us and served us and was amazing! She also had great recommendations. It wasn't too busy. We ordered Thai style papaya salad (9/10) which wasn't very spicy, but I guess it's based on preference! Super refreshing and delicious though. Great balance of sweetness and citrus! Pad see ew (8/10) was also delicious but more on the sweeter side. Red curry(9/10) was really yummy, definitely recommend that dish! Second visit we came on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. We were seated right away but didn't get a waitress to get come to us for water or anything for about 10-15; it seemed like she was the only one, poor girl was sweating and also helping to bus tables! So we understood why the service was a little slow. Once we ordered the food came out fairly quick, a couple of dishes at a time (not all at once). In addition to pad see ew, papaya salad (which tasted the same) we also ordered Lao sausage (6.5/10) and Tom yum chicken. Sausage was good, but I've had better. Tom yum (8/10) was great, I just prefer it a little more lemon grassy. Also there wasn't much chicken.

Was greeted and seated as soon as we walked in since they weren't busy yet. Our server was very friendly and attentive. There were a lot of to go orders instead of dine ins. Food ratingsTofu Nuggets- 3/5 There's nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't for me. The little green spots in the picture were either edamame or peas. Server wasn't sure herself. Pork Eggroll - 2/5 could use more seasoning since the flavor wasn't all there. The carrots were a bit too crunchy for my liking. 5/5 for the crunch. Tum Lao - 4/5 Flavors were good but tasted more like Thai papaya. I typically like my papaya a little sweeter, this was a bit saltier. I like that they cut my cabbage into bite size so I don't have to use my fingers to rip it up. PadSeeEw Beef 4/5 - I liked that there was a char taste like there should be. However, it was a little salty for my liking and a bitter taste here and there. IGreen Thai Tea 5/5- Really good! Not super sweet but sweet enough to satisfy my sugary cravings!

Been there twice already. The restaurant is clean and has a nice decor. The staff was nice and helpful. The plates are the right portion size and definitely enjoy their appetizers they offered. I still haven't tried their drinks, but looking at the menu, it only cost $3-4. The spicy level was on point. Definitely returning back to try other items.

I have had the food for Lunch and for dinner the same weekend I was in town and I was not disappointed. Every dish was seasoned to perfection and my favorite was the Lao sausage with sticky rice and the Pho broth. The Pho was so good you didn't need to add anything to the broth. The service I had that day was with Anusones and she definitely was so personable and catered to your every need to make everything special. You really cannot ask for more. She is such a hard worker taking orders and cleaning up the finished plates. She definitely needs to take a vacation. The ambiance was very open and airy. I love all the windows that surround the building and I love that there is an outdoor patio so you can enjoy the nice weather or bring your dog if you wish to. The inside has a map of Southeast Asia and all the murials are so great to have on display and makes a great backdrop to an amazing photo opt! I will want to eat here whenever I am in town and take all my friends and family in the future. I love supporting local businesses and I wish all the best with much success!

I LOVE THE FOOD!!! Good price, portions, taste, amazing service. Tom yum perfectly seasoned, not bland. More towards spicier side, but I love it. Family environment with traditional feeling.

I have been waiting with much anticipation for this restaurant to open first of it's kind that I know of in Fresno. However, I walked in and it wasn't very busy. I seated myself 20 minutes later a server came by without eye contact, slapped a water on my table and walked away After 10 more minutes. I got up and walked out. That was the bad.The good was it was very welcoming decor more so than I had expected for a street food place plus the smells when I walked in the front door were epic and wonderful. It was the hardest thing I ever did walking out. All she had to say is I'll be right with you , it was starting to get busy, but it wasn't when I walked in. I will give them another chance next week after the steam stops coming out of my head. It would've taken very little effort. Stay tuned.

One of my most anticipated restuarants in town. Took real long to be built but pretty worth the wait! This place took over the old Baja Fresh in River Park, and I always thought that the interior was pretty spacious with lots of natural lighting.Came here on a Sunday afternoon so you already know the place was packed! I also imagine everybody was so excited to try out the new place. Their menu is pretty small, which was a bit of a let down because we needed more Thai/Lao options in Fresno! Service was extremely friendly and attentive, despite how busy. The food took a bit to come out and there was instances of them forgetting some of the dishes we ordered, but they quickly compensated by putting them on the house! The place is new and were slammed with people, so I can't hold it against them. I am sure they will improve with time. This place serves family style, so bring your people! I suggest getting a personal side of sticky rice.Lao Coffee/Cafe Paksong (4/5): I've had other Southeastern coffees and absolutely love them, but this was my first time trying Lao Coffee! It left a decent first impression, it had the sweetness of Thai coffee, but not as strong as Vietnamese coffee. Would recommend if you haven't tried it!Laab Chicken (5/5): I will say it right now that this dish stole the show. It was easily my favorite thing we ordered. The chicken was tender and the flavors were great! The herbs they used tasted so fresh and it had a perfect spice. Highly recommend. Tum Pho (4/5): This was pretty good as well, it was a papaya salad that came with chicharrones and shrimp. It was a good first try, but I think I would just stick with a regular papaya salad. Especially because there's an $8 difference between the two dishes. Tom Kai Gai (3/5): My favorite types of dishes from Thai/Lao cuisine is their soups. Unfortunately, their tom kai gai broth lacked the richness that I am used to. They pack the soup with a ton of veggies, which were good for the most part but some of the rough textures took away the experience. Overall, I believe this place has a lot of potential and will only get better overtime. Will probably come back once this place dies down a bit!
