Mountain Feed & Nursery

I love this place. Been getting my bird food & cob for my deer for a few years now. The guys here are friendly, funny & helpful.I love the doggy, the kitties & little chicks in the store, too!It helps that the location is so convenient right off 41 on the way to/from Oakhurst & close to the P.O. in Coarsegold.Wouldn't think of going anywhere else! Looking forward to getting some trees & plants here in the spring!

Mike and his wife are super nice people, always helpful, knowledgable and patient. Mike always loads up my deer feed into my car for me and makes healthy food recommendations for the deer that I wouldn't have otherwise known about. Due to a lung condition, I had to evacuate my house in YLP during this Creek fire. Mike worked with me over the phone to buy deer food to be put aside and picked up by a friend who is feeding the deer for me while I'm gone. He was doing this as he was taping up the doors and windows due to the dangerous smoke levels. I really don't know what more anyone could ask for. They have my unconditional loyalty. Please ignore whatever unfavorable reviews you see and chalk it up to those people having the problem, not Mountain Feed & Nursery. They could not be more stellar.

Always polite and helpful when I go in for hay. Loads up immediately. Couldnt get that 5th star though because their delivery truck has been down for so long. Cant wait for that to be fixed so I can really load up. Wont hide it from you if something is overpriced either. Usually when the item is there mainly for convenience or emergency and not expected to be sold in high quantities.

We live here, and I can tell you with assurance the owner of this fine store is a man of good character, and word has it he also plays a good guitar-feed is excellent, great prices, his delivery charge is ridiculously low-pay no attention to naysayers, we are proud to have a real store like this in the Coarsegold Communitysunaj

Always helpful and polite. Load everything into my car. Love this place. Plants I have bought are healthy because they also have an excellent selection of soils. Also I buy my good quality Niger seed here.
