Absolutely love the cold water provided at the start of our meal. It's the little touches that make this place stand out!!

Large salads to share, delicious sandwiches and surprise specials make this the number one hot spot for the neighborhood. Great wine at the bar and excellent servers round out a wonderful experience for lunch or dinner at Moto. The pop-up cafe on Sundays--The Mirror--is also a nice treat and a better pulled espresso than the big box shops. Be sure to make time to hang out when you're in the Fresno High Neighborhood.

Moto has all the makings of a 5 star eatery...friendly staff, creative menu and great neighborhood location but in the end fell short. We arrived shortly after 5pm on a a Friday and ordered the Margherita and Prosciutto pinsarella, along with the Point Break and the Too Mush to Handle sandwich. As pizza lovers we were excited to try the pinsarella for the first time. Unfortunately, it lacked the "wow" factor we expect from artisanal pizza. Pizza was descent but far from great. The Too Mush to Handle seemed promising when I read the ingredient list but unfortunately was served room temperature which dulled the flavors and cheese was cold. Not sure if it was meant to be served hot..we did wait over 40 minutes for our food to be served. Staff was VERY friendly and apologetic for the wait. The Point Break was basic, again nothing to make us return. Sound level was also very uncomfortable and it was difficult to have a conversation without straining to hear. Definitely not the place to have an intimate gathering. Decor is trendy in a lovely way, with plenty of seating inside and one table outside. We would have opted to sit outside to escape the noise but the table was right in front of the indoor barstool area and we would have had two people starting down at us the whole time.Overall descent effort on Moto's part, just not enough to make us return. If you are considering, perhaps try earlier in the day when less crowded.

Nice ambiance & good service! Check it out. Admittedly, I'm VERY VERY VERY picky about Italian deli having been raised in NY. So, take this w/a grain of salt since my standards are sky high. ORDER:Goodfellas Sandwich: Wish it were on real Italian bread, a nice crisp exterior w/a soft airy inside. This soft seeded roll was good for what it is. Arugula was perfect for this. Plenty of meat; generous yet just the right amount. Would like a tangy oil & vinegar dressing or Italian salad dressing to set it off. Build Your Own: Prosciutto, salami, mortadella, capicola (aka "gabagool"), provolone on focaccia. Focaccia was too hard & thin; prefer a bit fluffier. Meat was tasty & plentiful again. Vegan herb garlic mayo was tasty. ACCESSIBILITY: Good.

Trendy environment with friendly staff and good food. Visited Moto for a weekday lunch and ordered the Point Break and requested it toasted. The focaccia still retained its flavor while the tuna tasted like it was made freshly. The guy at the counter was a little lacking in energy but he was attentive and responded quickly to our requests. Most of all I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere as indicated by signage and community flyers here. Might need to relocate to this neighborhood!

Moto has been on our list to spots to try for awhile now. Apparently they are doing brunch as well, but that wasn't available on the Saturday around noon that we went in. First impression, cute set up! A bar to your left, seating to the right and you order up front. They have an assortment of sandwiches, salads and bowls. I opted to try their point Breakfast (albacore tuna with herbs & dijon, mayo, marinated cucumbers & red onion, avo, shredded lettuce, pepperoncini on toasted ciabatta). So fresh and delicious! Their portions are quite large as well. We are definitely going to have to come back to try their brunch menu as well. Their service was also great and efficient!

This is a jewel in the Fresno high/tower district area! I've tried pretty much all of the sandwiches and salads, all really delicious. Tip: I usually ask them to go light on the mayo... They are open for dinner, too, and their flatbread pizzas are amazing! Our favorites are the pepperoni with ricotta cheese and a drizzle of hot honey, and the sausage mushroom. Really good beer selection as well. It gets pretty crowded and noisy during the dinner rush, so be prepared for that. Great owner, super nice and helpful staff as well. And if you want dessert, Ampersand is about a 10 second walk. Yay for great locally owned neighborhood businesses!

Went for a post meeting lunch and drink. Unfortunately since they're near the high school they can't sell for in-store consumption before 5pm. However, the cold cuts sandwich and potato salad were delicious and filling enough that I probably couldn't fit a beer even if I wanted to. This spot is super cute, clean, and has very friendly staff. They also have a mini coffee shop inside, a free library (remember to bring a book to donate if you can!), select quality grocery items, and plenty of beer and wine for purchase. Their chairs are comfortable for longer stays and the bar has such a cozy and friendly vibe!I was only in town for a couple of days but if I'm back, this will become a must-have stop. There's also a record store and thrift shop nearby so you can walk off the filling subs!

One of my favorite places in town to have lunch. I've been numerous times and always order my same sandwich. The Garden of Eaten minus the Mayo. It's always consistent and delicious. I love that the ingredients always taste fresh. Parking can be tricky since it's located near Fresno High. But if you go at off times, you should be fine.

The sandwich was good. Nothing spectacular. Price was a little high. I definitely want to go back and try the pizza. They only serve pizza after 5 pm so I couldn't get it today at lunch. Dining area was super cute. Great vibe. The staff was all very friendly.

The first thing you'll notice when you walk in to MOTO is the amazing smells...like an old Italian deli full of cured meats, cheeses, etc. The menu consists mainly of salads, pinsarellas (Roman flatbread) and sandwiches. The farro salad is a standout with fresh crisp veggies, farro and burrata tossed with a light lemon vinaigrette. Delicious...and perfect in this summer heat! The salad alone is enough to warrant a return. The flatbreads we tried were also yummy. They also serve up an amazing looking charcuterie. Top it all off with a spritz or a glass of wine, or a local beer.Service was outstanding! Welcoming and friendly but very professional. I loved the feel of this place....a true neighborhood gem with people in families, couples out for date night, small groups of friends, and lots of regulars coming in and out for their to gos.Love this place!
