Monrae English - Employment & Medical Malpractice Attorney

I never received a call back from this company... wake up business owner and return calls

Tried to get a consult for an employment issue. She said she was interested at first but then never returned any calls. Her assistant kept telling us she would call back and that she was busy with a case. We tried to be patient but after numerous weeks and messages left we gave up. This was in August thru October 2016.Very disappointed! left us hanging.

Contacted this office wanting to hire an attorney. Gave my claim to the intake person as she requested. Was told I would hear back from the attorney directly in at most a couple of days. Went two weeks without a response. Called back and was told a) There was no record of my inquiry. b) If I had called prior, there was no need to go back over my claim. I didn't received a letter of declination or even a phone call or email letting me know not to keep holding my breath.

I submitted a timeline, transcript of a potential malpractice for review and asked for a consultation. After 4 phone calls and an e-mail, requesting an appointment with the assistant, I was finally given the answer, "I guess if she hasn't called you, she's not interested." Very unprofessional and not what I would expect from someone who works for a lawfirm of this caliber and history. If the $$ merits of my malpractice case were not enough, a simple courtesy of calling and saying she was too busy or not interested would have been the correct approach.Disappointed and posting here due to lack of professionalism. The assistant could have delivered this message with a return phone call. Yet, I had to call them.

Monrae is an incredibly effective attorney. I was pleased with how responsive she was to my needs, even responding to my emails on the weekend or late evenings. She helped me with my medical malpractice case every step of the way and was able to get me a settlement amount more than I could have hoped for! I highly recommend her and will continue to do so to family and friends.

She initially seemed knowledgeable and hard working. That facade quickly wore away as her lack of knowledge and her inefficiency became more and more apparent. Even for a pro bono lawyer, she's inadequate. Would recommend that nobody hire this woman.

monrae is the epitome of a dangerously stupid lawyer. She pretends to know more than she actually does and takes on cases for which she has inadequate skills. As i see the from the reviews of others who have been unlucky enough to interact with her or have her damage their cases, she remains a wishy-washy imbecile of the legal profession who does more harm than good

a worthless lawyer and a worthless human being. She led me on with all the supposed things shed get done and after I put her on my case, she accomplished none of those. in fact, she bailed out of the case after causing it irreparable harm. Monrae does not deserve to be a lawyer - she is a danger to all potential clients

Ms. English is very particular on her case choice and will not take every case that walks in the door.

Called this attorney Monday morning and expected a call back like her secretary said she would. But she never did. Nor did her secretary. Not very professional if you ask me. But then again. I might be wrong. Maybe treating your future potential clients better might be something for this law firm to work on.
