MixMed Compounding Pharmacy

I don't go here often because I'm lazy and they don't have a drive through but when I do, they are attentive and very helpful. It's easy to get through to somebody by phone. Can't go wrong here!

Man did it take me forever to find this great, independently run little compounding pharmacy. I have been with Pharmaca/Medly for decades and severe allergies make the most simple pharmaceutical a challenge for me.After about calling 10 pharmacies that were supposed to do compounds all over California, I found this almost local pharmacy right here. I'm so glad to have them in town. I spoke with Tony who called my doctor's office to get the right compound formula. My prescription was done the next day.Although it took me a full hour to drive there and back without traffic (I live just about as far from Armstrong and Herndon you can get) it was worth it. Since we are having the most beautiful winter I can remember in decades, all I saw was the largest view of Sierra Madre with snowcapped mountains everywhere. My daughter uses compound hydrocortisone, I say this med specifically because finding someone to make it is nearly impossible in central California! These guys were able to make it QUICKLY, they knew exactly what I was looking for, and although they couldn't bill insurance for a compound, getting the form to bill insurance myself was incredibly easy. But they also make it at a completely fair price! This pharmacy is a saving grace, albeit a bit of a long travel for me. I'm so grateful to have found this pharmacy!

Just switched to them from a big box pharmacy. They put my prescription on auto renewal and I received it right in time.

Friendly staff and they always have my B12 injection in stock so I don't have to order online. If I do, shipping is fast! They're in my neighborhood and I love supporting my local pharmacies!

Not too happy with my booster vaccine appointment, I mixed and matched when I could have gotten the same brand, but none of the ladies told me, even though they told other customers.
