What a magical store Mary runs. Felt like I was walking around in the past looking at merchandise, historical toys, snack, and jewelry. If you want an experience not like any other walk on through.

I stop in here at least once a week on my way back from Fresno. Good snacks, Minkler postcards and T-shirts, lots of memorabilia and always a ready smile and great conversation with owner, Mary.

Always a pleasure to stop by here and have a talk with Mary. She's always positive and has something fun to talk about-you'll always leave feeling happy and most often meeting some new people as there are many regulars who stop by. Great place to hang out and relax, have breakfast or maybe a tamale for lunch. I always love to see all of the collection of vintage items in the store, and cute crafts for sale. Love all the quality Minkler gear and they have beautiful handmade cards and gifts. Mary also owns the shop across the street so ask her about that too.

located on the way to kings canyon national park, this little store has your basic snack, soda, ice and beer needs covered....but theres more. sit a spell at one of the ten or so bar stools inside and enjoy the coldest beer or soda in the valley served up by Mary the owner. easy conversation, usually some locals hanging out, always some travelers stopping in......well worth the few minutes to step back in time and just relax.family friendly, walls covered in antiques and witty lines....

Ditto everything the others have said. We stayed at a bed and breakfast near by and stopped in here several times for beer and goodies. Talked it up with Mary and by the way she is celebrating the stores' 100 years in 2020. Prices were really fair and had anything you would ever want. A real gem.
