Miner's Roadhouse 140

Stopped for lunch on a quick trip to mariposa with my neighbor. He has a house up there as well as southern California. Miner's roadhouse is one of his favorite restaurants in mariposa so we had lunch there before flying back to so cal. Western rustic motif and ambiance in line with a casual sit down restaurant. Ordered the Cobb salad and it was solid. Couldn't quite finish it but was too full to continue so I would call it a generous portion. Our servers was polite and efficient checked in with us a few times during our meal. I'd return the next time I am in the mariposa area.

We were were pleased to find this restaurant after our long, lovely drive out of Yosemite. The Tesla supercharger is nearby, but not waling distance.The place is clean and neat, but quite "dated." Our waitress was friendly and helpful to move us because the people next to us were very loud. The design of the ceiling I think contributes to poor acoustics.The food is traditional, satisfying and prompt but nothing special with the exception of the salad bar which is outstanding. Parking is a breeze in the ample parking lot and the bathrooms are clean.

On our way out of Mariposa late last night around 8:30. We needed to eat . Saw this cool Place up off the road .it's OPEN ! Let's go in ! Cool Country- Miner vibe going on :) we were seated by Amy, our friendly server . We ordered Some Sodas and ordered our Entrees. We were told it included a trip to the salad bar . Which is always enjoyed ! Hubby and I ordered the Hamburger Steak w/ Mushroom Gravy and Onions . I wanted the Loaded Baked potato. He opted for the Mash potatoes. Our Son had the Spicy Chicken strips w/ a loaded potato. Really tasty food served hot and fast . We enjoyed our meal and had full tummy's for the road trip back home :) I bet they serve Great Breakfast!

Delectable! Divine! Delicious!Me and my lovable scamp took a weekend trip up to Yosemite in what would be a harrowing adventure through sleet and storm. Most of our day was spent in a neighboring hotel in beautiful Mariposa until we found this gem across the street. I don't know how it has only 3 stars. We were there no less than three times during our stay!The atmosphere is super cute, giving it a homey and welcoming vibe. The wait staff was very attentive. Now the food, the food was exceptional. The portions were very generous. Their salad bar had a bleu cheese dressing with HUGE bleu cheese crumbles inside. It was a revelation. We made our way to their prime rib special and my mouth has never been the same. I've tried seeking out prime rib since only to be disappointed. Theirs is thick, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with pepper and rosemary. I cannot forget it. They also have an appetizer platter that is lightly fried and breaded to perfection. It's a can't miss hit!

Absolutely horrible dirty .I called in a order of cheesesticks menu online says $925 when I got there it was $16.50 for crappy food all they could say was old picture oh well

Friends and I stopped in here for breakfast. We accidentally went into the hotel diner area under the same name (different building) which closes at 9:00 a.m. But they pointed us in the right direction.The menu had a good selection of items. On the back there was a "lighter" section of food. This meant you got a smaller portion for a lesser price. I tried the chicken fried steak with hash browns and sourdough toast. All of them were actually pretty good! My buddies got various other items and their food looked good too.Service was a little slow and the prices, like everywhere else, are up. There were a couple flies buzzing around and we constantly had to swat at them to keep them off our food. This place 8s your basic diner...good enough.

Our lifesaver after a long & winding drive from Yosemite. It was after lunch when we went, we were seated immediately. The staff were very nice and friendly, their food is your all-American faves. The diner is spacious with cute decors, i just don't like the flies hovering in our table.

Food was great, awesome location back to our hotel, very wide variety to choose from. To top it off our waitress Tearsten was very kind, professional and friendly. Big thanks to her!!

We came in from visit in Yosemite on way home to Santa Cruz. French toast, eggs, OMG the sausage was fat and delicious, oatmeal perhaps perfect, and pancakes fluffy and not too. I recommend this spot it's the second time I've been in. It's a dinner spot for too super good.
