Mike's Grill

Mike's grill should be a Fresno landmark. My go to is their tri tip sandwich made with Texas toast and drizzled with their homemade BBQ sauce.We would also cater from Mike's as well. If you're looking up a place for a quick bite then stop by Mike's!

Likely the most tender Tri-Tip sandwich I have had. Breads a little greasy, but the meat made up for it. A little salty, but I'm sensitive to salt. It was still amazing.

Quick, no frills place, with window service. Consistently great sandwiches. They have lots of other things on the menu that are great, also, but that's always my go to meal. The sesame roll is toasted and buttery. It is never soggy and just thick enough to hold the Tri tip. The BEST. the BBQ sauce is honey thick, sweet and tangy. You can pick up a whole tri-tip, and they have great sides.Service is friendly and efficient. Everyone there is really nice. There's a few tables and chairs outside, beneath a pop-up shade, if you would like to eat there.

Wait you sell tri-tip, grilled hot dogs and rice pilaf!! Well say no more, delicious tri tip sandwich, perfectly grilled hot dog and bun! You a not go wrong with Mike's Grill! Be aware operational hours are just a little different than most. Whenever you're in the "dog" house and can not find a seat and want that tasty tri tip head over to this grill house! Parking is plentiful, minimal seating be prepared to eat in your car if you that huuungry and can't wait till you get home!! Great spot , good and food , give it a try and get out of the "dog" house sometimes it's better !!!

I have always passed by this place.. and my fiancée and I finally tried it out.We went on a Saturday around noon, there was only one couple ahead of us. Service was quick!We ordered a Jumbo Tri-Tip, a small Coleslaw and a small rice pilaf to share.There is minimal outside seating... so we decided to bring the food home.The tri-tip sandwich is VERY GOOD!!! It was tender and the BBQ sauce on the side was a good touch! I would come back for this! The rice pilaf was delicious, and flavorful!The coleslaw had too much vinegar for my taste. I'd skip this next time.

Have heard a lot of good things about here, so I gave it a try, and was I not disappointed. I got one of their regular tri-tip sandwiches and Oh man.... what a trip. The meat is so tender,juicy, and flavorful, with a generous serving for the regular. It is even served on a garlic buttered roll, which just elevates it to an insane flavor symphony enough to make a grown man cry ( myself included). Service was great as well he was pleasant and friendly, and food was prepared promptly with little to no wait time. This place is entirely outside so I don't recommend eating here if it's insanely hot like I did as there's no fans or even a lot of seating but there's at least some port a potties out. The food is so worth it. I definitely will be coming back here, and I'm going to get the bigger sandwich next time.

On Cedar and Herndon avenue is placed this sandwich booth shack that sandwiches are absolutely amazing. The prices are highly reasonable and the food is the best ever. My family and I usually get the tri tip and pulled pork sandwiches. The service is very fast and friendly they take your order right away. The best times to stop there on your lunch time right when they open up at 11am. There is ample parking on site and in the shopping area next door. The some table and chairs for the customers to enjoy their meal on site. The outside setting is good to take in the fresh air. We highly recommend you stop by this yummy sandwich shop in the Fresno area.

Great food and service, on the pricy side fir tir tip but worth it. Never disappoint

Custom service was terrible.the lady was very rude on the phone taking the order and just as rude picking up the order.the quality of the tri tip sandwich was terrible.not at all as it was in the past.cold smashed bread and only a few slices of meat on sandwiches..poor quality..wish this place wouldn't have changed hands.. won't be ordering there again

The beans were the best part. The tri tip was marinated well but didnt taste barbecued. The pulled pork wasn't very good, wouldn't order here again.
