I have purchased the best joke gift in the world here: the squirrel king. He represents all of the struggles we have in the mountains with the cleverest of adversaries.

My family stayed in Oakhurst for a couple days to see Yosemite. I visited a bunch of little cute thrift stores and this one is my favorite. Great customer service and found some cute items. They are only open a couple days a week (so check ahead if time to see if they're open) I found some French ceramic planters, jewelry, and baskets.

Fair prices and well organized, with your typical church thrift store goods. Tempted by some 80s clothes, funny t-shirts and jigsaw puzzles. A fun little stop on the way into Yosemite. More of a 3 1/2, but they were nice and parking was easy.

New favorite place in town. Will be planning my trips to oakhurst around their hours of operation!! found so many great items, great prices and kind employees! A good selection of vintage and good quality items. I will not forget to bring my own donations and food pantry items next time we come back! Jim is the sweetest man, my friend and I really enjoyed our conversation with him!

The selection of hard goods, books and $1 clothes rack was remarkable! I'll be back. Picked up a heavy white ribbed planter for $1. Two shirts for $1 each. Set of stone coasters and a large pan.

This is one of the better thrift shops in town. It is organized and has good prices. The help is sometimes friendly, and other times not as much. I have one gripe... When you donate, the people helping get first crack at the donations. Now I am giving to benefit the church. If this is how they "pay our workers", instead of it being decided by the store manager, then I will continue to donate where it does the most good. I donated an expensive set of dishes some time ago. Before I even entered the store the dishes were being loaded into the back of their vehicle. So I asked how it worked. Very disappointing. Maybe I am wrong, but the store is being run to help the church.
