I've lived in this complex for almost 5 years.Pros:-things get fixed right away when you request. Thanks to their great maintenance team -there's always guest parking. Sometimes I do have to park far by the brick wall but It's better than parking outside the premises. -security cameras on the premises-no cockroach Problem -rooms are big and spacious -"smoke free" complex -the fixed up their gym and sauna! Their sauna was not working when I first moved in. But it's fixed now. I really enjoyed using it when I was there. Cons: -security cameras: if you park by the white brick wall, the cameras don't go all the way over there. So if things happen to your car (mine was a hit and run), the cameras won't catch it. -there's a lot of cars that needs to be towed in the guest parking. You know it's been there for a long time because it's building up spiderwebs. Management doesn't do anything about these cars but leave you notices about your car parking there too long. -the big hedges around the apartment complex. During the summer there are bees and wasps. It also makes me feel uneasy coming home at night.-rent goes up all the time-people are always digging through the dumpsters. Overall, I enjoyed living here. The complex is quiet in general. It's located right down the street from Walmart, Costco, and winco. The management is nice and get things done for you in a timely manner. The cleaning fees they charged us when we moved out were reasonable. They'll send you a breakdown of everything they charge you for. We received half our deposit back. We honestly didn't expect our deposit back at all. Granted we lived there for almost 5 years.

When I moved in 3 years ago, I was told rent does not increase a lot. In 3 yrs it has gone up $125. After hours, people park in no parking areas and no one checks the complex at night. workers do fix problems quickly. They use our money for children functions, (not against kids, but they do not pay rent) They have nothing for older adults,Dogs are larger than what they should be, they do not check on that.

This is not a good place to live, especially when you got kid's.I used to live here over than 2 years.I swallow my pride until I moved out to the house.First dog poop always in front of my patio. Most of the neighbors love to have a dog but so lazy to clean. It took a week to fixed my diswasher machine.Leaking on the bath tub seal door never fixed until I move out.Twice my parcel from the office missing.I got real time tracking record. When I move out,I only got $725 back my deposit money out of $1600.The management charge me over $800.I did hired the professional carpet cleaner but they still charge me for carpet cleaning.Ridiculous!

Currently living here, and honestly the only pros are that the office staff is very nice and friendly. Also they are quick to fix things that go wrong in the apartment. Now let's talk about the cons. 1. Neighbors are loud af. The walls are thinner than paper, I can literally hear my next door neighbors having a conversation when they are speaking with a normal inside voice. But omg don't let them start arguing. 2. After 8pm you smell nothing but weed, & I don't smoke, but I also don't mind the smell. But man it gets so strong. Even with my doors & windows closed. 3 . PARKING. They literally have a horrible parking situation going on that needs to be addressed immediately. These no reason why I should have to park a mile away from the apartment. It's inexcusable. Even my assigned parking is far af away from my apartment. It's despicable. Merit Manor, DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR PARKING SITUATION!!! 4. THE FUCKING CONSTRUCTION. OH MY GOD!!! It's never ending. & it's loud af.l Like I get it, you're trying to improve things. But is it really necessary that they block off 10 parking spots, like it's already a struggle to find parking, & now it just got 10x worse. Idc how temporary it is. The workers are loud af too. Like do they realize people actually live here, and some people work at night & sleep during the day, they should be as quiet as possible, besides the obvious construction noises. No but leave it to merit manor to find the fucking loudest people they could. Oh and Lazy af too. I found two 8 inch nails sticking up from out of the ground. Like there are way to many dogs in this complex for them to be making mistakes like that, bet they would've done something if someone brought them a fat af vet bill. And I hate to say this, but lowkey their racist af, they only hire mexicans, I mean I get it. Help your people, but fuck they take it to the next level. I

Lived there for 5 yearsPros:1. Management and workers are very nice and friendly 2. Apartment is spacious 3. Things get fixed at a timely manner Cons:1. They will just about keep your deposit when you move out 2. Their rent increases is pretty consistent just about every year we lived there they increased our rent.3. Dog poop isn't picked up by tenants, so the outside grounds become a land mine 3. Your stall is pretty far away from your apartment 4. I've noticed more people that cause problems have moved in.

I lived here for a year before I moved out. The apartments are spacious but run down (my apartment had counters and cabinets that were originally from the 1970s and were disintegrating). Things do get fixed on time because the maintenance staff is amazing. The management is something else, ineffective, one of them is extremely rude and will literally just hang up on you when you try to follow up about repeated issues with neighbors. The nice one there is Sheryl, she is helpful, the others are incompetent. Rent is too high, and set using some arbitrary software that fluctuates like crazy. They were going to raise my rent significantly if I signed a new lease. I moved out because of how badly they handled a situation with a neighbor that not only harassed me after I complained about them but infested all the nearby apartments with roaches. Terrible experience.

Worst apartment I have ever lived at! The units are run down and straight falling apart. There was black mold in the bathroom of the unit that I rented, and when you report something needs to be fixed, they don't actually fix it. They just do a temporary adjustment so they don't have to spend any money. And the one year that I lived at this property. I had to have maintenance come out to my unit at least 12 times. That is once a month. Absolutely ridiculous Don't be fooled none of the amenities listed are available. There is no gym the pool Is wide out in the open and never cleaned and they only have chairs and tables with umbrellas pit for 3 months of the year starting in June so that means when it starts getting hot in April you have to sit on the hot concrete. The Neigbor's are loud and obnoxious they do absolutely nothing about it. My car got broken into and the security guard that they allegedly have at night time spends more time digging through the trash to get recyclables than he does actually surveying the property. If one word could describe this property, it would be Ghetto!!!!!

I lived at Merit Manor Apartments for a little over two years. Overall, the best aspects of the apartment complex were the friendly staff and that they were quick to fix maintenance requests. PROS: The apartment complex was relatively quiet, my neighbors were friendly, and my assigned parking was near my apartment. I liked how dog friendly the complex was, which made it easier to have my two dogs there. I felt safe taking them for walks at all times of the day. I also liked that I had two spacious walk-in closets.CONS: That being said, my apartment was subpar. Upon moving in there were holes in the carpet, black marks on the kitchen tiles, the toilet would randomly start running every few hours, the painting on the walls and cabinets were not professionally painted because of paint smears on the kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well as paint stains on the floor, the floors were VERY creaky, and the bedroom window would rattle every time I moved around my room. There were several other issues I had with the apartment throughout the years.I found the pet deposit for each pet to be ridiculous given the condition of the apartment and how the pet deposit cost more than my own deposit. But in all fairness the other apartments I've viewed in the area shared similar rates. Truthfully I did not think the apartment was worth the cost of rent, especially after they increased rent after living there for a year plus the extra pet rent I had to pay as well. Additionally, I did not agree with the deposit amount that was returned to me after moving out. I had spent several days cleaning the apartment from top to bottom including renting a carpet cleaner from Home Depot to clean the carpet. The apartment looked great upon leaving and I am upset that they took almost half of my deposit (not including pet deposit) to "clean" an already clean apartment. I spent many hours making sure that apartment was in great condition and it felt like a waste of my time to have even bothered cleaning it. I would not have thoroughly cleaned had I known they would still take a ridiculous amount of money out of my deposit. The justifications for using some of my deposit were unjust and I would argue that some of the items that needed to be replaced should not have been charged because they were a result of normal wear and tear. To top it off they addressed the check for the deposit to my co-signer and listed him as the primary resident, which was untrue. I was the only one who lived there, the deposit was paid by me and in my name, the rent was paid by me and taken out of my bank account, and I am the one who signed all the paperwork. They were fully aware that the co-signer did not live on the premises and I handled the responsibilities of the apartment because it was my apartment. Thankfully I was able to deposit the check into my own bank account. If I had any issues, I would have demanded they send me a new check with the correct name listed. Even though this worked out for me, I was incredibly irritated by this error and found it completely unacceptable.OVERALL: I think this would be a good place for anyone looking for short term leasing or for those moving into their first apartment. While there are pros to living at Merit Manor, I felt like there were more cons. I wouldn't live here long term because I think there are better options in the surrounding areas.
