Mediterranean Market

The meat is cooked on lump charcoal the way they do it in the Middle East. The meat has the best flavor and is so tender. All the sides are fresh and homemade. The market has an amazing array of middle eastern items from food to hookah to snacks. Quality Mediterranean food hidden in a small town.

This store is great! Fresh produce, deli, breads, sweets, SPICES! Met the owner and he was super nice to talk to and very knowledgeable in the products he sells. I was a little bummed though in that they no longer sell prepared food (5 months too late) but that's ok. I'll definitely return for those hard to find ingredients.

The food is great and the place is easy to get to. I've tried the chicken shawarma and bbq kabob and it's easily the best Mediterranean I've had in awhile. To add on to the experience, the service is great and the people are nice. I'm happy to have great Mediterranean food back in Porterville!
