The place is a nice casual, and the food is great! I got the grain bowl, so many options for sauces n toppings, very good Mediterranean food

Absolutely amazing food. The Greek salad alone was worth the trip. My parents both got bowls and enjoyed everything. My only note is that the baba ganoush was a bit slimy on the mouth feel. Taste was good though. I'll enjoy coming here again.

A friend put me on to Mayd Modern Mediterranean, and I'm so glad they did! I've ordered a few times now, and each time has been chef's kiss.I first tried the Big Shrimpin bowl, and it's a flavor bomb. The harissa shrimp paired with the saffron basmati rice, roasted red pepper hummus, and smoked tomato harissa is just mwah. The toppings like tzatziki, cauliflower tabouli, charred avocado, and crispy garlic really round it out. It's a little spicy, but in the best way - everything tastes so fresh and high-quality.My husband went for the Big Tipper bowl, which is basically a Mediterranean dream. The tri-tip shawarma on that saffron rice, with smoked eggplant baba, grilled peppers, and za'atar onions was top-tier. And the garlic sauce and pita chips? Elite.We also went for the Sweet Potato Waffle Fries, Animal Style. Topped with tzatziki, crumbled feta, chopped chilis, pickled turnips, and red onions - so good and perfectly spiced.For dessert, we tried the Baklava ice cream (delish!) and ordered a Snickers ice cream, but it came as a berry flavor. Not sure if it was a mix-up, but hey, it was still good!Overall, if you like bold flavors with a bit of heat and fresh, modern Mediterranean dishes, Mayd is where it's at. Everything we've had tastes thoughtfully prepared, and you can tell they care about quality. Highly recommend!

When we are in the Fresno area, and have a craving for Mediterranean, we go to Mayd. The ingredients are fresh and the service fast. If you're getting a bowl (a great value), you select your ingredients as you walk through the line, and they put it together for you. If you're ordering something from the kitchen, they bring it out to you promptly. On our last visit, my wife got a bowl, and I got shawarma fries and two Nakkos (Naan bread tacos). Everything was delicious, and the staff was friendly and patient with these newbs who weren't familiar with all the different toppings and options. The restaurant was clean and even the restroom was tidy. We've visited Mayd a few times, and have never been disappointed. Only reason I didn't do 5 stars is because it's basically fast food, so there isn't much in the way of service after you pay and take your food. But we have no complaints.

I love butterfish so I was excited to try this place. The ingredients were fresh and flavourful. The service was helpful and I let them know this was my first time. This location was clean and bright. When I arrived there was maybe three other tables and then around 1 it go so packed.

Wow I don't know why it took so long to try Mayd. The same owners as butterfish and heirloom so you would figure it's good. I went the non conventional route and opted for the tri tip Sami as opposed to the bowls. The tri tip is thinly sliced and so flavorful- not dry at all. The bread wasn't too thick and overpowering. Good sauce. I really enjoyed it! The ingredients for the bowls look fresh and tasty so I will def try the bowls next. Nice workers and clean, modern interior with relaxing music. Overall recommend.

Our book club met here last week after work. This spot is about half mile from my office but I'd never made my way over. Well, this will not be the last time! I walked in to a bright and airy and clean interior. It's kind of a chipotle set up where you can tell them what you want in your bowl or wrap. They also have a good number of pre-designed bowls and nakkos (tacos made out of naan bread). I opted for a few hot items which I ordered at the start of the line and then proceeded over to the cash register to pay. I then took my seat and they brought my food out to me when ready. There were at least four workers on a week night and they were all friendly and upbeat. I thoroughly enjoyed every dish I ordered: honey tempura cauliflower (so crispy and good!), garlic naan with generous serving of yummy toppings and the fried artichokes with a garlic sauce. I loved that they were citrusy. I often don't feel like eating meat and this is the perfect spot for those times!! Oh I have to add that I usually just drink water but I couldn't resist the iced seasonal chai latte drink and wasn't disappointed; it was so good!There was plenty of seating. People came in and out while we were there, some staying to eat and others taking their orders to go. we never felt rushed to leave, which I really appreciated.

Yum! Great food. It was a bit overwhelming at first because there just so much written on the menu board and so much in front of you. But it's easy enough to order a suggested bowl. This place reminds me of a cafeteria style salad bar. There are plenty of Mediterranean sauces. I came here during a lunch break and with the way it's set up, you get your food immediately and pick a seat. Clean up your tray when you're done and take off. Easy enough. I suggest telling them if you want your food spicy or not. I ordered the big shrimping and farmers daughter. Big shrimping was a bit spicer than I expected. Clean restrooms. A little pricey but delicious.

I love mayd, I always come here but there's an employee who I've never seen: short, Caucasian, young, short light brown hair who was being absolutely rude. I chose a good sized bowl with extra of everything (because I can) and he kept letting me know that it'll be extra (which is fine) until I had to pay, he shook his head and said "that is crazy" "that'll be a very expensive bowl" "let's see" I'm sorry but who asked you? Are you paying my bowl?? Unnecessary remarks. i don't know maybe it's just me but I wasn't very pleased with this particular person.

upon entering the store it was very clean and welcoming i went around 330/4. someone named Brinlee (sorry for spelling) helped my mom and I at the counter. we had let Brinlee know it was our first time and brinlee was able to make plenty of recommendations! if it's your first time it could get overwhelming but Brinlee was very helpful and patient and knowledgeable. we asked a ton of questions and asked about a lot of the items on the menu but we did not feel rushed or an inconvenience. after we sat down Brinlee was walking around cleaning tables and asking people if there food was ok which I really appreciated! great customer service ! I then noticed Brinlee left, I'm assuming end of the shift and that made the experience even better because she could've easily rushed us or been impatient to get us out of the line but instead created a great experience. we will be coming back thank you for a great experience and hospitality. It also made the food that much more enjoyable ty!
