Maw n' Paw BBQ

This was my first time trying this place! I'm just sad I didn't try it sooner!! Their bbq was nice and smoked (not too much) and they really give you a good amount of food for their value. I highly recommend trying all three of their bbq sauces (there's a super spicy 4th if you feel up to it!). I got a few sandwiches and each came with a side. Their beans are soo good! You gotta try them, it's almost like a chili. I mostly got tritip and brisket, so I can only comment on those, but I'd imagine everything is amazing. The service was fast and great. They were helping me order since it was my first time. The bbq sauces you get yourself at a station, and you can get as many as you'd like. They also sell bigger bottles of their sauces.

Decided to try this place on a whine.We wanted to try as much as we could, they are on the cheaper side, no frills. Service was quick, got our food in less than 5 minutes. We got 2, 3 meats 2 sides with all the sauces. Hot links were good, I've never had it so I wasn't expecting it to be thinly sliced like it was. Chicken and tritip were also thinly sliced and were pretty good. Brisket was shredded which I was sort of off put by, but it was ok. Brisket is normally my favorite. Pulled pork was good and probably my favorite meat in the order. All the meat had that good Smokey bbq flavor, Some of the meats were on the drier side so you definitely need the bbq sauce, we liked the sweeter one. Potatoe salad was greatColeslaw was good I wouldn't get the beans again but they weren't bad. Just not the typical sweet bbq beans and also not the chili style. Definitely worth a try the price is great and you get a decent amount of food

First time here and the bbq bowl was great in flavor in and value. Wait wasn't too long during lunch time. The brisket was great and definitely piled high. I would come here again for lunch. The bbq sauces were great as well

The brisket was absolutely delicious. Since this order was DoorDash, I did not get to sit down but rather just pick up! The place is very nice and clean, and the staff is very friendly. I got myself the pawtatoe and it was fantastic!

The food was fresh and delicious. The prices are good as well. They have food for any budget. The rice was so buttery and great! The meat was tender and seasoned well. I will be back! The staff was friendly also.

Not really sure how I fell about this place, I ask for brisket and they gave me pot roast meat what happen to slices of meat like Texas style. Ribs are decent can be more tender. 3 out of 5 cause I felt like there's no passion behind this food

It's been about 5 years since I ate at Maw & Paw' s BBQ in Clovis. I found it to be much the same - counter ordering in a restaurant of what I call "Barbecue Funky". I love it. Frank, the employee who greeted me and my wife as we exited our vehicle is a great asset to the establishment. I asked what was cooking as he closed the smoker which is prominently placed out front, and he immediately asked me if I wanted a peek. He had just placed a bunch of meat pieces that he called pork collars. I was interested in these since I have been previously unaware of that cut of meat. He exp the cut to me,My wife and I each ordered the 2 meat plates - hers was pork rib and tri tip with potato salad and mine was chipped brisket (a sample had me hooked) and pulled pork collars with their three bean BBQ beans.The rib was tender and tasteful, the tri tip, although not cooked to my medium rare fondness, was tasty. Her potato salad, she said, was delicious.The brisket? came out thinly sliced and dry. It was not the chipped brisket i had tasted earlier It did not look like brisket or taste like brisket.This was the only disappointment of the meal. On the other hand, the pulled pork from the pork collars was the star of the show. Delicious. The beans were good. Food portions were large, prices were very fair and overall I liked the place. I liked the staff, I loved the pulled pork. Go get some!

Don't let the exterior of this building fool you on the quality and taste of this BBQ gem! First thing you notice, the Air Force jets flying overhead. It is AMAZING to see and hear. Second, the welcome from the fella at the counter. Genuinely nice and helpful. The food was fast and served in to go containers. We ate at the restaurant, but definitely needed those to go containers! SO MUCH FOOD! Let's talk about the BBQ sauces for a minute... the best I've tased. The Sweetie was subtle. The Smokey was perfect! The Hottie was my favorite! And, I did try the Nuclear. It was so good, but, small amounts! There is a challenge that involves that sauce of your into that stuff. We will definitely return here for BBQ.

The food is your basic BBQ with no frills. Which means it's a lunch destination for real people. Busiest times are 11:30 to 1:30pm. You'll see the menu and what's available from a sandwich you put together yourself or a platter plate of meat and sides.These folks had it down to a science and the taste, the meat all reflect this. The sides are great and the beans are a must try. The rice pilaf is another and would suggest both. The crew is friendly and helpful You just have to try this place , it will fulfill your need for protein. And the ambiance you cannot fake.

First time eating here. The service was great, it was quiet and super clean. Its fast service and great food will have me coming back to try other amazing food on their menu. I had the brisket sandwich and rice pilaf ,(which I was a little shocked - you have to put it together yourself). The sandwich and rice was great and their bbq sauces are delicious to go with the food.
