I was a tenant with this company for nearly 3 years and they easily hold the title of best landlord I've ever had. They rarely have anything available that is affordable and not on the outskirts of town, or I would rent from them again in a quick minute. The reason this is 4 stars and not 5 stars is that since the business has grown, the process of seeing an available property has become a bit less accommodating. Otherwise, they are a great company to have taking care of your residence.

Mastro Property Management sure took the stress out of finding a rental for my family. I went to a few others and ran into several road blocks. Started with Eric talking to him on the phone, he sure put me at ease when he answered my questions. He had Misty give me a call, after dealing with her for a few days she sure knew how to make a customer happy. I can't remember once if she told me NO! Be advised I asked for a lot too and she came through. I'm so glad that we will be dealing with them for a least the next 12 months or more. I highly recommended them to anyone who is wanting to rent out their home or need to rent a home.

I've had nothing but great service with them from DAY ONE! They are very friendly & great with quick responses and follow-through! They are easy to work with and have made our first experience in California pleasant (unlike many other facets of Fresno/Cali.)

I recommend MastroPM they have absolutely outstanding services regarding property management. Kayla is very quick and responsive via email to any concerns you may have about general concerns, maintenance, and etc. I personally would highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent from the best Property Management in the city or looking for a company to manage your home. I'm enjoying my home and hope to purchase the home one day.

I was hoping to use them to find a tenant for my rental property. Ha!!! I received an email package from Kayla with instructions to call Misty, the owner, with any questions. She and I played phone tag a few times...no problem. Then she texts to ask if we can speak "tomorrow." I say, "Sure" and we agree to text first to make sure we connect. Next day, 4:30, still hearing nothing, I text. She responds, "tomorrow good noon?" What??? How do you do business like that...that's how you treat a prospective client? I told her I was disappointed with this start. She apologized, but had no excuses. Ok, so you don't have time for what would have likely been a 5 minute phone call to answer a few questions? AND, after the last text I didn't respond, but I also didn't tell her not to call. She could have tried to salvage it and I would have taken her call. But she didn't even try. Just sad.

I would not recommend Madtro Property management to my worst enemy. The renters who moved into our property were not screened well enough, and constantly had problems saying the rent. I had to phone each month to ask for our rent. After firing this company, we were horrified to learn: 1. The home was being sublet without our knowledge. 2. Mastro didn't forward any late fees for all the past late months stating that they kept it for evictions. 3. No pet policy, but the tenants had 3 dogs. 4. Our gardener fees did not cover the back yard as we were told-the dogs destroyed all living things back there, and chewed up the sprinklers. 5. It cost us over $7,000 to get the home fixed for our next renters. A property manager is hired to manage a home. It was a nightmare working with this company.

Just like Michelle S. stated below, I also contacted this company to get info on them managing my properties. Not sure what the deal was, but nothing happened. Seemed like they didn't want my business, I was just brushed off. Oh well, just went to another mangement company. Their loss!!

Unprofessional and slumlords. We had no shower for a month and they ignored all communications. They have someone managing their properties who is not listed anywhere on the lease or their website. Susan is completely unprofessional and rude. She is confrontational and the office allows her to do all this while not recognizing her as a true staff and telling tenants that we don't need to answer to her. When I moved out, I gave them a 30 day notice and paid up even when we weren't living there. We cleaned the place, we didn't leave it a mess in any way, yet Susan still sent us an itemized list of false accusations as to why they kept our deposit and saying we owed them. We had been there for 3 years, so there was things like basic cleaning that they legally cannot charge us for. Also made up lies about things that were dirty in the apartment that were not done by me or my partner. To top it off, when I called the city on them for leaving us with no shower, the city required that they change and fix the smoke alarm placement. When they sent their maintenance person to fix the issue, he took the smoke alarm that was originally in place and Susan sent this itemized statement charging us for that smoke alarm! If that isn't retaliation then what is? We left a month after Susan came to our apartment to confront me and tell me off about calling the city. They weren't worth the stress. Save yourself the headache and frustration with this unprofessional company. Get a lawyer when dealing with this place.

My experience with everyone at Mastro was excellent. Eric, Kayla and Misty were professional, honest and made the process of applying for one of their properties simple and painless. Appreciate their professionalism. Something hard to find with other property management firms I've dealt with.
