Marshalls Department Store

This review is only on the basis of human decency. So I was with my daughter to go shopping here when we noticed on our way into the store that a car with its window barely cracked had a couple of dogs in it while the owner was obviously not around. It was a hot day. My daughter proceeded to an employee and a manager to let them know the situation and to suggest that they communicate over their intercom to see if they can locate the owner. My daughter was met with a curt "no". That is not what the intercom is used for, so she then proceeded to a manager who then echoed the same thing but then ended up saying even something more appalling, "Even if there's a baby in the car, we would not go out of our way to use the intercom! I hope someone higher up from Marshall reads this or if you're reading this will divert their shopping elsewhere. The humanity here just leaves a bad taste. I certainly wish we got the names of the employees cause I would call them out.

Definitely nice having a Marshall's near by but seriously disgusted when I was looking at dog beds and not one but 3, when you open it to see that it is used with dog pee inside. What you believe to be a new dog bed is 100% used. Absolutely gross. Maybe change your return policy or have staff check products better when they are returned.

I had two very awful experiences at the store. There's an incident where a lady left her two dogs in a hot car and it it was 100° in that car and she left them in there for about 20 to 30 minutes now when I went into the Marshalls to let the two employees know about the situation. My request was that they say something over the intercom page to let this lady know that her dogs are actively dying in this car now the young man at the front said that he will not be doing this because it is ""weird I believe the situation with the lady and the dogs was handled, but I went to call the store and speak with the manager now the manager was incredibly rude to me incredibly backhanded. I told her about the situation and she told me well. We're not allowed to do that and we're not allowed to page, even if it was a child dying in the car that is exactly what she told me that they're not allowed to page on the intercom, even if there was a child dying from heat exhaustion in a car and then she told me I should've called the police because that's animal cruelty and somehow she made it into my fault very manipulative and she tried to gaslight me. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a store and I am incredibly disappointed that this is how the employees and management act, especially when lives are in danger it honestly made me lose a bit of faith in humanity to see this and hear this

Very disappointed in this store with associate and management . My experience 4/14/2021 over all very dirty and messy, a young gentleman with facial hair was directing his staff in a good polite manner telling them what to do and what he's expects to be done and it seemed like his acknowledgement wasn't taken serious by the workers. All four associates continued to talk and not work. Literally 20 minutes later the gentleman did the task what he asked them to do, I hope he get's recognition and I hope his upper peers see that.

I do love Marshalls but I noticed a few things about this location.It was a little messier then other ones I have been too. They did not have many dresses. It was mostly pants ugly ypga pants and hoodies.Do people wear anything else today?Oh yeah I do. I actually put thought into my outfits and try to look nice whenever I go out. So Marshals needs to carry more than just work out clothes.

Found this Marshall's location while in the area for a friend's wedding. My husband needed a new pair of shoes after forgetting his at home. We found a nice pair of men's shoes for $50 on clearance. They actually had a lot of name brand shoes, including ladies Uggs for only $100. We bought the dress shoes for Casey and a couple other small items and snacks for me. Didn't spend a lot of time browsing other products, and were really happy to be able to get in there and find what we needed in a short amount of time.

The worst Marshall's I've ever been to. They get one star for the large shoe section but the rest of the store was pitiful. Really small, limited selection of everything else. Dirty, Disorganized. Complete disappointment.

Great prices and a huge selection. My cashier Ashlee was amazing and super helpful. Will definitely be back

Horrible customer service there's a worker who hides items for her mom so she can resell them on Facebook this store is always so messy when I go in the mornings there is always problems the manager needs to do better ! So unfair for those who actually want to shop around in the mornings.

Yesterday at noon My friend went into this store and he was trying to use the dressing room and a Caucasian lady around her 40s was the person in charge of the dressing room area, and she was very transphobic to my friend, she basically went off on him because he was trying to just use the dressing room, he didn't even say anything the lady was very aggressive to him and pointed him to the females dressing room, and I get it my friend is not a passable trans person yet, but that lady still had the audacity to yell at him "have a good day ma'am " when she knew that would make my friend uncomfortable, for every trans person do not go to this location because they are clearly trans phobic. Hence my friend said nothing at all , and the lady looked at him before using the dressing room saying "that's not gonna work with me so you are using the females dressing room". Very uncalled for of her. This is a clear example of violation of code 51(b) in the state of California.
