Marie Callender's Restaurant & Bakery

The food was good but it was slow getting out to our table. The waitress checked on us several times, but it took a long time for the food to come out. The waitress seemed to be overwhelmed bc she had a lot of tables. It was 1:30 in the afternoon and we figured the rush was over, but there were still many people eating.

Came here because I saw their promotion online. $5 off any pies. I have always enjoyed their pies, especially their custard pies...but not sure why this time, the crust was so sticky and it didn't allow me to cut through. Basically, I ended up scooping out the custard and left the pie crust sticking to the pan. Didn't try their muffins this time, but they are usually good. Try to catch them fresh and it tastes even better. Parking was plenty. The restaurant just seems emptier before.

Good soup weather! Nothing better than a bowl of potato cheese soup from MC on a cold winter night. Quick in and out for my to-go order. A quart of soup came with a good size piece of cornbread and honey butter. Plenty of food for dinner for me and the hubby.

The service is always so wonderful. Very fast and reliable. The employees are always so kind and do their best to make it a great experience.

I ordered a lunch meal that consisted of a pot pie and a slice of pie. The muffins looked delicious so I got a blueberry one. I gave the blueberry muffin and peach pie to my mom. She thoroughly enjoyed them. She had just gotten out of the hospital so this was definitely a special treat for her. My pot pie was small but pretty tasty. I would like to come back and try their happy hour. I'm glad they came back to Fresno.

7/13/23 Tomorrow is my grandmothers birthday! Getting a pie for her. I walked in to get one. Greeted by a worker. Ordered a strawberry pie and I went to the bakery area where she got the pie ready. Paid for the pie and wished a good day! Pie looks absolutely delicious! It will definitely be enjoyed tomorrow! Great service and delicious pies! Highly recommended!

The young lady greeted me with a pleasant smile and greeting and felt very welcomed. I ask for a spacial request and she attended to my request. And if of course the strawberry pie was excellent. Tyvm.

Worst place ever! We will be calling health inspector. There isn't even words. My son ordered steak medium and he never got to having a bite. We were honestly in disbelief.Gave the place benefit of the doubt due to the dated look.I was sick from the one bite of stroganoff. Visalia location is nothing like this. We didn't pay, informed management and walked out.

I went in with my husband to get some pie. We got the strawberry banana and the chocolate. Both were delicious.

ordered the mini pot pie combo. Later that night I got food poisoning. I knew it was from here. I didn't have anything else later that night.
