Marian's Mexican Restaurant

Went there for lunch last week. Had a one item plate with taquitos and I enjoyed it! They give you plenty of rice and beans, couldn't eat it all lol. Food is fresh made, hot and reasonably priced. The service is attentive and friendly, it's a nice cozy place to go have lunch. So yes do recommend!

Service was good , food was blah. I had albondigas soup and expected flavor, but didn't get it. Broth was oily

Have not been here in years, probably 10. But good never changes here at Marian's. Food was old school, not fancy, just really good. Relleno was good, enchilada was good.. Same slightly grumpy waitress. Very clean interior. Should be busy this fine Saturday morning. I highly recommend.

I grew up going to this mexican restaurant. However, I haven't visited in nearly 5 years. When I returned, I was greeted by the sweetest staff ever. The place was frozen in time. It was a nostalgic journey all over again! The food was absolutely incredible. Some of the best mexican food in town. I'll tell you this; it won't be 5 years before I get back to that restaurant.

Every time we go here we enjoy our food. The staff is friendly. Love the way the restaurant decorates their heritage.

My family and I came to Marians on 2/19/22 for a family outing. We arrived around 12pm and we were seated immediately. I'm not sure if it was the owner but it was a lovely woman who was doing everything from seating, creating, taking orders and clean up! She was like Super woman and she did it so gracefully.My family and I always drive past this place for YEARS and happy 2022 we get to try it. It definitely has a mom and pop feel to it. They have cute decor and played Spanish music which is one of my favorites so I couldn't help but dance away! The dining area was clean and cozy.When my parents arrived we finally ordered and I ended up getting the wine strawberry Margarita . I rated it 7/10 as it was absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The family had soda and dad had Raspberry Ice Tea as he is not a soda drinker like me!The nieces were excited and we were all hungry so we all put in our orders and tore up the Fresh Chips and Salsa. The salsa had a little bit too much black pepper for my liking but it was good. It was a learning experience for my nieces so we were teaching them not to double dip which pretty much "in one ear and out the other" but eventually they got the hang of it.Our food came out momentarily. I got the chicken enchiladas plate which I rated it an 8/10. The enchiladas were so delicious and tasty, the beans needed more salt which I did add some salt and the beans were bomb and the Spanish rice was very flavorful. I seriously enjoyed my meal. It tasted fresh and it made my tummy happy too!My who family enjoyed their meal and shared with me they would come again! I don't know why it took so many years to come here but it did hit the spot with my mom, dad, middle sister, her daughter, older sister and her daughter and I. We said we all would come back in a heart beat. It was semi empty when we came in and gee it filled up quick! It was a packed house.Definitely a must try. Good and tasty Mexican food!

My family sold this restaurant 32 years ago to the present owners , and guess what ? It's STILL amazing! The cook is the SAME ! As is the waitress ! Thank you Arturo and Lupe !! The famous botanitas are a bit of all the best foods in small bites . The guacamole chips and salsa were fresh ! The shredded beef to die for ! Best Mexican in Fresno hands down ! Two words : eat here ! Support a true homemade fresh family owned restaurant..

Best Mexican food in Fresno, we don't like any others and we've tried a dozen here in Fresno.

We went at lunch time & it was cool & not crowded. Food was great, just as delicious as my mom's! Excellent service and reasonable pricing. Very courteous staff.
