First time here and definitely won't be a last!First of all service was great, our host (who I think was the owner) was so kind and accommodating, it was a busy night and she was doing it all. Our waiter was so cool too, very personable and knew everything about the menu.Bar service while we waited for our table was great too, like I said it was a busy night but the bartender made sure to give his attention to everyone, our party included. Ambiance was lovely. It's Christmas and it was decorated as so. We loved it, it felt festive and cozy. Small place but they can pack a lot of people in there without it feeling overly crowded. We sat at a booth which we very much so enjoyed.Food was so good! I did the Brie burger and loved it. I ordered it medium and it was prepared perfectly. Overall, I love it here! You can tell they pride themselves on putting you first and they do a great job at it. I can tell why it's been a Fresno staple for so long. Looking forward to my next time here!

Manhattan Steakhouse is more than just a restaurant--it's a cherished tradition for my family. Even though it's quite a drive from our house, it's always well worth the trip. This restaurant has been a favorite in my family for generations. It's a place that feels like home every time we visit. One of the standout aspects of Manhattan is the owner, Karyn. She is warm, welcoming, hands-on, and approachable. Her dedication shows every single night. Whether she's bussing tables, greeting customers, or running around ensuring every patron has what they need, her presence adds a personal touch that sets this place apart from all of the other steakhouses in Fresno. And then there's the food & drinks--absolutely unbeatable! Every dish is prepared to perfection, and their Appletinis are a personal favorite of mine. It's the kind of place that leaves you planning your next visit before you even leave. If you're looking for a steakhouse that combines exceptional food, a friendly atmosphere, and a true sense of hospitality, Manhattan is it. Highly recommend!

A great place for steaks and dessert. Great selection of New York steaks and they even feature a 32oz tomahawk steak pair with crispy thick and buttery hash browns and a vegetable. Drinks were good. Some were stronger than others. Great selection of desserts but they were out of their popular beignets. Staff was friendly and helpful. Decor is New York and Sinatra speakeasy inspired theme. Reservations are a must for Saturdays. Located in a strip mall, parking was tight. It wasn't as large and spacious inside but h they do have a full bar and a huge selection of whiskeys. Definitely good for a nice date night.

We went Manhattan restaurant on Valentin day. We all ordered steaks, my wife gets New York New York steak with spicy and I ordered New York Delulca steak. When we got our orders and it's look good but, my wife and I were very disappointed and both our steaks were tasteless and I expected for the price should premium quality. We will never go back there in the future. Texas Roadhouse steak is must better stead and prices and furthermore, the service is great.

The Manhattan has been around for decades, offering good food and impeccable service in an elegant dining room. The staff is kind and welcoming, looking to help each guest have the best dining experience. The desserts are wonderful. Small, busy parking lot with a drive-through Dutch Bros that can create some traffic congestion.

Haven't been here in quite awhile. Have had super positive dining experiences in the past. New chef? Hostess/owner was so sweet. Seated promptly. We had made reservations. Booth had some lumpy spots. Chill old school feel. Nice bar. Server was friendly . Told us the specials but never checked in with us to ask if everything was okay or if we'd like another cocktail. Bread and butter was good but the bread was cold. The owner passed by us and asked if everything was okay. Nice of her. Cocktails were on point. Beet salad was good but I didn't like it as much as I did last time. Loved the sauce on my steak. Mushrooms and onions on top were yummy. Steaks were limited as far as choices of beef. Many New York steaks prepared several ways or like a $100. Rib eye. Husband ordered medium and got medium a rare steak. I paid extra for the baked potato instead of the hash browns. Huge massive potato! Lots of fixings. Meal came with green beans. They were still nice and crunchy but I didn't like the carrots on top. I wasn't as crazy about everything this visit. Originally I gave 3 stars. I edited my review to 4 after I had my leftovers for lunch today.

Wife and I decided to try out Manhattan for a New Years Eve dinner to bring in the New Year and were instantly greeted with friendly faces and really cool older framed pictures and posters that were Frank Sinatra esk. The room was dimmed and the setting was nice. We ordered a shrimp cocktail to start off and it was a great balance of spicy and sour, honestly some of the best cocktail sauce I've had. The entree had left a little to be desired unfortunately, the steak, potatoes and green beams just seemed under seasoned. In fact they tasted much better once I added my own salt and pepper to them, which is fine but for the prices I expect a little more attention to detail in the food. Thankfully the lemon berry cake at the end made up for the entree and had a great balance of sweet and sour to ring in the New Year!
