My husband was at his friends house and said they ordered to-go for dinner and my husband tasted a few items and was just raving about how good the papaya salad was and couldn't stop thinking about it for days and he wanted me to try so we decided to stop by for dinner yesterday. Arrived just 6:30pm it was a bit warm inside with a strong smell of cleaning solution. It's a small restaurant we were the only one there we were greeted and given utensil and menus as we sat down. They also turned up the air so it wasn't as warm and stuffy inside. My husband ordered the papaya salad Lao style no spice with beef bitter soup. I ordered chicken pad thai, side of sticky rice and pork belly. Our order came out hot and one at a time. The papaya salad was okay imo I was looking forward to something more especially the way my husband described it. It was overwhelmingly salty and you could also taste the some sweetness. He swore that it tasted better at his friends house when he had it lol. The pork belly had a beautiful crunch to it but it was sooo dry, no juice from the fat was coming out and the meaty part was so dry it was difficult to chewy and swallow. I also didn't care for the sauce it came with, wish they just stuck to the normal vinegar/fish sauce base sauce. My husband likes his beef bitter soup I on the other is not a really a fan of anything bitter. The pad Thai was also okay it was a bit soggy and sweet but had some of it today as left over is the flavor settled and it wasn't soggy and the noodles separated. The side of sticky rice was a pretty decent size for 2 to share. Last minute order my husband wanted a Thai tea but tbh that was the worst Thai tea I ever had, there was a dirty after taste. All before tip our meal cost $84, a bit overpriced for underwhelming food. Perhaps maybe it was close to closing not sure but I expected more especially the way my husband described the to go order he had a few weeks ago.

What a little gem this place is! It was on my list of restaurants to try and can't believe it took me so long to actually come in! I got the kao soy and shared the pork belly and fresh rolls with a friend. The kao soy broth is so flavorful. The pork belly, ground beef, and tomatoes bring the dish together. The pork belly was nice and crispy the spicy dipping sauce really packs in the flavor and compliments the fattiness of the pork belly very nicely. And the fresh rolls.. I'm realllly picky about spring rolls and peanut sauce and typically only like them from one other place in Fresno. These rolls are indeed fresh (FYI comes with mint, I got it without because I'm not a fan of mint). They stray from the traditional peanut sauce and pair it with their sweet and sour sauce, so I was a little skeptical. The sauce is more spicy than sour, has a light touch of sweetness, and isn't as creamy as the traditional peanut sauce. But it was sooo good. It was pretty spicy though as a warning to those who can't handle a lot of heat. I have now found a second place in Fresno to get spring rolls! Would definitely recommend all three dishes I mentioned and will for sure be back to try other things on the menu! Service was quick and friendly. It's a small space, but they have a good number of tables and seats.

The Thai boat was so good! First time having here and it hit the spot. I don't like sweeter Thai boats and this one was not sweet! It was savory and spicy. Might be a new go-to for Thai boat! Pictures shows that I completely finished it. The large was actually small so $19 bucks is pretty expensive imo. But I'd buy it again.

I was disappointed in the quality of this food. I didn't even eat it all. Benefit of the doubt, they were closing soon but I called in my order and they had several orders after me. The spring rolls fell apart quickly and weren't worth eating. The sausage was good but the rice wasn't good and they gave two types of rice because they ran out of one. I'm not sure I'd return since I can get these things elsewhere.

If your in the area you can't go wrong with there serving quantity and wonderful flavors and spices! My eyes are still watering. Before I forget you must order their coconut frozen drink. Cheers to all and enjoy!Ronn just Ronn The hole in the wall food guy.

Hidden gem. If you like spicy you'll love the food here. I've had several things but my favorite is the Mongolian beef. Spice on 5 which is a normal 9 lolToday I ordered the basil chicken and again they don't miss. Drunken noodle is a go to. Super small location with tight seating.

Great friendly service. The food was soooooo flavorful and delicious! We ordered fried rice, Lao style papaya salad, Laotian sausage and drunken noodles. We were so happy! Ambience was super casual like it's ok to go in your pajamas and flip flops.

Iwas craving traditional Laos type food and found this place on yelp. After reviewing the menu online I decided to give it a try.The restaurant is next to another similar type restaurant so make sure you are going to the correct one. Its a cozy place but wasn't crowded when I arrived and was welcomed to seat myself.Since i previously looked at the menu prior to arriving, I skimmed it to verify the dish i wanted was on there. After a few minutes a nice woman took my order and confirmed that sticky rice was available. The wait for food wasnt too long but while waiting I couldn't help but notice the amount of to-go orders that walked in as well as a couple of more dine-in patrons. This was a good sign!My food came out hot and smelled delicious. Crispy pork and sticky rice.I had planned on saving some but it was too good I ate the whole thing. this dish satisfied and I often dream of it. I haven't found another restaurant that has a similar dish and I dont live in the area so this is reserved when I am passing through. I look forward to eating here again and hopefully trying more dishes (that spicy Lao sausage is calling)
