Madera Golf & Country Club

absolutely loved playing here.. went for a 7am t time with my cousins for first time & i can't wait to go back! the course was in spectacular shape & the greens/fairways were very nice. on top of the amazing course, the staff was awesome & very kind. if you get the chance to play here i highly recommend you do.

The golf pro here is the best and the most professional that I have ever dealt with. The club could use a modern touch as far as decor, and some renovations would be a plus. The restaurant has amazing food and great hospitality!

Played a wonderful round there last Friday...the course is in great shape and the staff was very friendly!!!

Very challenging and beautiful course. Worth the membership. Par 4s are especially fun! Women's tees are not much of an advantage :-). Wish there were a nice clubhouse, then this would be perfect.

Quiet beautiful course with very helpful and friendly proshop. Left an item there and came back two days later and there it was at the ProShop!!! Food is great for take out and seems underpriced for the quality. Great mix of challenging holes for the skilled players and for the distance challenged golfer.

My husband and I visited the clubhouse restaurant yesterday and were treated rudely by the waitress with the bullnose ring, something that some find distasteful in their servers. She asked if we were members and we said no. She told us to go to the public golf course nearby. She didn't ask if we wanted to become members. She just rudely dismissed us. My husband and I are in our 60s, were polite and dressed appropriately. I think the manager needs to tell her to treat people better.

Worst possible place to golf at. They haven't punched the greens in a few years now. Members are leaving the course at an alarming rate due to the poor maintenance of the facilities. They treat their employees like shit forcing them to often times do up to 8 hours of work with no breaks or lunch breaks. If an employee is caught taking a slight break they are written up for it. The manager is a complete idiot and extremely rude. Do not spend your money here. Don't support the poor working conditions and unfair treatment of certain employees. This place deserves to go out of business for all the harm it has caused. Go play at Madera municipal golf course down the road. That course is taken care of lot more, with friendly staff and fair treatment

The course is well maintained, quiet, and peaceful (except for the occasional train). The staff are rude and dismissive.
