Food was good. The bartender was nice and helpful making recommendations. very laid back atmosphere close to Fresno State. Would come back again.

Mad Duck is such a fun place to go when visiting Fresno or you live nearby. There are several locations across the area, each with a different vibe. They offer delicious American fare and a wide range of beers (and non-alcoholic beverages). This location is a good mix of families, bar patrons, and night out. There is seating indoor and outdoor and a big bar. The servers are very attentive and friendly. They are knowledgeable about the delicious beer options. One thing that impressed me most the first time I went here was the selection of beers. It's not just IPAs and two others. There is a good variation so everyone can find something they like. It's a great place to go before or after going to the movies next door. It's also a nice place to spend some time getting a day or night out with a friend or family. The noise level is actually quite good, making it quite comfortable. I highly recommend the salads. They are large and delicious. It's a busy place. I recommend reservations. I've been to this location a handful of times and every time it's hit or miss. The service is either really good or they aren't very attentive. The food and drinks I've tried are usually good. I recommend the steak bites and the steak nachos. The blueberry elderflower lemonade cocktail is my fav when I go here! I do like how they have happy hour and different specials throughout the week. Went today and noticed they charged a service fee which I'm not 100% sure what that is even for.

My youngest devoured the wings. She over them. The beet salad was good, especially if you enjoy beets. The salmon was well cooked, except for one side on the end that seemed to have gotten a bit extra salt. Garlic fries smelled and tasted delicious. Service was great as well!

Ordered fish and chips...$20 for 2 tiny burt, greasy pieces of fish and a basket of over salted, greasy limp fries. This place use to be great now it sucks. Not worth the calories. Too bad I love my husband..... even if he has shit taste in food. Gave 1 star since 0 isn't an option

This place was starting to get busy when we stopped in on the weekend. They have specials and happy hour and a regular menu ; lots of options. I tried the sangria; super good; brought joy to my body. Love the fresh fruit, color, and the flavor. Nice drink to sip on . I decided to order a little bit to eat; so ordered a Nashville chicken slider; the chicken was crispy on the outside and nice juicy and hot in the inside. Mmm that's some good eating right there. Move over Nashville here comes Fresno!

Nothing like an American Gastropub and Brewery after a day well spent at both Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.Had a satisfying California Mad Burger with a heap of Curly Fries. Beers were great of course, and ended up bringing some back to the hotel.Don't do like how I did by accidentally dropping two souvenir pint glasses in the parking lot right after buying them by the way.

Mad Duck has great drafts and food selection! Thank you Kevin for great service! Will definitely be going back soon.

Katie was my server tonight and jesze was her trainer, their service was amazing I never had to ask for any refills or more napkins or anything I may have needed and I will definitely be coming back

Jesze's was the most fantastic server I've found in quite some time. He influenced Katy to be the upmost standard that you can hold in today's day. I truelly appreciate the service and the food was quite phenomenal. 10/10 every time I'm back in town from Washington DC I will always ask for these two
