This store is more than just an Asian grocery store, it also features a kitchen serving delicious meals. Majority of the time when I am here , I order the Khao Soi Noodles for lunch before I start my shopping. Truly one of the best I've tasted. I like their wider noodles and the tasty broth with ground pork. When shopping , I was like to discover new snack items. They stock many flavors of Lays Chips from Thailand and China. Many unusual flavors you would never imagine. Every item you need for your Asian cuisine is available here. Great little Asian Grocery story and restaurant. This place is the largest of the two markets I've found in Visalia. Lots of good stuff here, come give them a shot

Wonderful food, but environment is definitely hole-in-the-wall. Papaya salad- very flavorful and spicy with sour, salty, and a little sweet. Very good balance. I found it paired really well with the Kao Soy. Khao Soy- it's a clear, smooth pork broth with thick rice noodles, meatballs, ground pork, comes with bean sprouts and lime. Very good, and the mildly-flavored broth went very well with the papaya salads epic spices.I found all the dry pantry Asian groceries I needed there though, and I was very happy. There was hoisin sauce, fish sauce, spicy chili oil, Shin Korean instant ramen, grass jelly juice, star anise, and dried shiitake mushrooms, fried shallots and garlic and coconut water Thailand. I also saw some coconut milk and Thai curry spices that I might buy another day. They had some wet pantry stuff like shallots, garlic, ginger, but they did not look fresh with shoots coming out, so I will get them elsewhere

The original "BOBA " drink (before all these little shops) and PAPAYA SALAD place! The best in town.

It was actually the first time eating inside. It's a small place with not many employees. They do try to do as good as they can for service, I can appreciate it. The papaya salad was really good I got it before as take out but to watch them make it was nice. The chicken and rice is what I usually order it was good as always. Tip: they have the sauce near the register, you can ask the cashier. The kao piak was good and hot. Another tip: they are also a market that has a decent amount of southeast Asian products. Best time to get the food from their full menu is on the weekdays, the weekends menu items are very limited..

I love their pho. It's always on point. Their papaya is the greatest. Their service is great for a small family store. I love that they have hot food to go which are always fresh and yummy.

Was visiting bf's family in Porterville and finally was able to visit this market. Most impressive given that where I currently live (Tracy/Mountain House), there's NOT even one Asian Market in sight. I always wondered about this because there are Asian (Filipino,Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Cambodian + other Southeast Asians) that live here however, the predominant population of Asians are South Asians (origin: India). At MT&Y, there is a variety of offerings for most, if not all Asian groups, and I was so excited to see how organized the various food products were stocked. Also, the prices are reasonable. Of course, I'd say this since Tracy/Mountainhouse is just a hop, skip and a jump from Livermore aka as the bay area. I bought tinapang bangus (smoked milkfish) and octopus for poke. I will definitely be back when I visit again. It was such a great feeling to go to this market. Lastly, the butcher counter is definitely a place to get your meats for bbq and hope to do my shopping there soon for this too!

Great spring roll!!They have so much to offer and a huge variety of foods!! Definitely a dime !

The food here is Amazing! I will definitely go here again. The pho is so good and the service is also fantastic! I think the place is pretty cool too.
