M Street Arts Complex

I went to art hop here last night since I still had some time after going to a Yelp event and grocery shopping. I had so much fun and I bumped into one of the artists who I have known forever since her painting was on display. I was happy to see that there was new art work on display. I think I need to research about more places that are open for art hop but I really enjoyed this studio. I think there is all different types of art for different people. I really enjoy going to Rina Gonzales Create Studio which has a bunch of different cards in both English and Spanish.

What a lovely redo of an old, unused building in downtown Fresno. This corner building has so much potential as an art gallery. It is a wonderful place to view large pieces of art and is handy for artists to rent space both to work and to exhibit. Because I love to walk around downtown, I have no problem with parking blocks away and walking, but there is street parking close by. As of now, the building is only open to the public on Art Hop Thursdays and Saturdays.

Really great art space in downtown Fresno. Open daily 12:00-5:30, with free parking. Free entrance.

Another ArtHop location. Several different rooms for different artists and a main gallery for the featured event. It doesn't seem to change up much so you can skip a few months and not miss much. There are some nice artists there that are friendly when you walk in their spaces, but it sort of seems the same each time I go. Be aware that parking meters are still enforced until 6pm.
