***This review is for the taqueria located inside the market.I came here to eat a carne asada burrito and this reviewed is geared towards those who are like me and search for the biggest and best burritos at the best price. To start off, my burrito was made fresh but was lukewarm, on the verge of being cold by the time I walked to the car and started eating it. I guess the warmers they keep their carne asada, beans, and rice in are not very warm. This pretty much killed the burrito for me. Secondly, I came here searching for a burrito that had a reputation of being huge at a low price of $3.50. They must have increased the price because I paid $4.50 for the burrito and an extra $1.00 to use my credit card. On top of that, the burrito wasn't as large as I expected. I've definitely have had larger at the same price that was a whole lot better.I got my burrito with everything. Everything here consists of beans, rice, cabbage, onions, and choice of meat. Pretty much standard ingredients and just what I was expecting. Salsa comes on the side and you have to request it. They don't offer any choices - it's either red or nothing. The beans and rice were not exactly flavorful and the carne asada was quite grisly. This place is situated in an area a lot of people would be scared to drive through much less stop in. It's really not that bad so don't let the location deter. What you should be deterred by is the quality of a burrito that just isn't worth it. There are about 5 other places within walking distance that I would gamble with over this one if you're in the area, have a craving for a burrito, and looking to try some place new.Customer service wasn't the friendliest but that's expected in these types of places. I was planning on coming back at another time to try their tacos but I'm guessing they wouldn't be so good either if the meat is served lukewarm-almost cold. One star means I won't be back. Try at your own risk.

This review is for the carniceria in the back of the market. I ordered 3 buche tacos with everything on them. The meat was flavored well and they were fairly generous with the amount of meat and cilantro, cabbage, and chile they put on my tacos. At $1.25 a piece, the tacos were a great deal.

This liquor store has a little meat shop in it where they make probably the best burritos in all of fresno maybe even all of California that's how good they are. The other stuff I haven't tried because I come here for one thing only and that's their burritos but im sure their other food is good. Not only are these burritos the best but they have the best price in town too only 3.50 and since it is inside a liquor store you can get a soda for 50 cents. A whole meal for only 4 bucks it can't get any better than that.

The workers there are so polite and helpful. The carniceria n the back is AMAZING, especially the burritos de lengua y trompa con todo ( try this one!) . If you're looking for the great food for a great price, come to M & R Market.
