Don't walk....RUN..!!!! We are from L.A. the biggest in food and of course service and great food!.! The service Amazing! The food is extremely FRESH AND DELICIOUS.!!! Of the hand the salsa fresh and chips are warm. My mom is so picky, I mean super picky... and she loved it here! We ordered a Menudo.. so GOOD (me).. my mom had the fried catfish (she wants to order one to take home lol). Drinks, my mom had a bud light (old school). I had a Cadillac (soooo good). It's a hidden gem!!! We can't wait to come here again! FYI My mom is half way eating her catfish. Plus they have a bar!!! Gooooo here if you would like authentic MEXICAN FOOD!!! Cheers and Enjoy!

Such a beautiful new space with the same comforting, homey Lupian vibe! This team has since moved from downtown/16th st into the El Portal plaza (former Las Islitas) and it feels and looks great. The dining room is very spacious and has artistic wall art from the sea. The staff here are all so pleasant and attentive. There's also a designated bar area with a full bar: spirits, beer, and wine. There are also TVs available if you wanna sit in and watch a game. On a regular night, I usually like to order some fish/shrimp tacos. But if I want something heavier and a signature dish of this restaurant, I'll get the Molcajete. You also can't go wrong with a shrimp tostada or some ceviche.Come check out the new place!

Lupian's has established a faithful customer base here in Merced. They began in a smaller shop near the bus station and have since moved to a plaza in northern Merced. The new location is beautifully decorated and the staff keeps the place spotless. We went on a Saturday morning and saw the place fill up quickly. Our meal was delish and the portion sizes were huge! We also got to see what other folks ordered and everything looked soo good. They have a bar and their cocktails were elaborate and intriguing.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I have eaten similar food since I was a kid, and find this place and their food extremely comforting. The service is always friendly. Their new location is even better than the last. Any time I am in town, I have to stop by for a chile relleno burrito. Pumped they have a full bar.

They never disappoint. Food is always delicious. Always hits the spot and they always have my beer not a lot of places carry those XX beer hard to find. We have been going to Lupe's for years and it's always great service and delicious food.

First time trying the new location. Wow, so nice and bright and open. Service was excellent as usual. My husbands only comment was that he wishes they offered something like a cod for the fish tacos instead of tilapia.

This was my first meal at Lupian's and I was not disappointed! They have an extensive sea food offering, all with a Mexican flair. Although I didn't go with the sea food for my first meal here, I'll be back to try it out too.The dining area is expansive, clean and comfortable. The food was great with large portions. The only thing that kept me from a 5 star rating was their salsa offerings with chips. Not my favorite but that's just me. Go there and decide for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

Hi everyone, my wife and I have struggled to find a place worth of making a recommendation for Mexican restaurants. They have Hops of Wrath IPA here! I think this shows the quality they are working towards.

Abby and her staff are the absolute best! We went to watch a football game, had drinks and chips and salsa. We always eat here with our family as well, the ambiance is perfect and they play the best music! They adjust as they seem fit, when theres more adults they crank up the music! Thanks Abby!

Chili Relleno & Cheese enchilada was great! It is hard to find a good relleno.... Also great service! Will definitely go back ...
