Lucky Lotus Bar

This is one of the places in Merced with the most refreshing and affordable array of drinks. It's a good place to start your night. The music and vibe are great usually on Thursday through Saturday nights. If you go early enough, it's attached to Thai Cuisine II and you may be able to order Thai food and drinks at the same time.They also have QR codes attached to the tables so that you can order drinks on your phone, if you're able to get a seat. Once the bartenders are done serving the people in line, they'll deliver your order directly to your table.Unfortunately, the owner (Bobby, I think his name is) doesn't necessarily have the best sense of hospitality and can be rude sometimes. My friend ordered three waters for our table after she ordered some shots, and the owner gave her attitude as if it were such a chore to get us those waters. I didn't see a self-serve water station so I didn't appreciate the attitude.He can be quite dismissive, unless you're a fresh new female who he can flirt with. A different time, my female friend was visiting from out of town and all of a sudden, he was extremely attentive to us and friendly. A change from his usual sour demeanor. I don't go here too often due to the lack of a welcoming vibe from the owner (his staff are usually fine and generally more easy to get along with). Every time I go back, I'm reminded why I don't go too often anymore.

Pretty cool spot to hang and grab drinks at. Nice bartenders, security and the owner is cool.

Saturday Night--this bar is quite new! Connected to one of the more famous Thai restaurant in Merced. Drink menus are available on one of their Flat screen tv which takes some time to switch out....the night we went was pretty pack mostly every table taken and bar stool almost filled up....it's a bar nothing special to write about a bar lol but it's super clean and new. Only one gender neutral bathroom. You can order food from the restaurant side and they serve you on the bar side just let them know...Bartenders were super nice and hard working but I felt like they struggling a little....seems like they were new at bartending (I could be wrong) one of the bartender broke a glass in front of us poor thing...I'm not sure if it's a bar policy or just that certain bar but the bartender was like I have to keep your card to open??? (I've been to a few bars an usually I can just order a drink(s) and close it right after) kind of threw me off but oh well...

We started coming here after The Partisans where rude to my friend. Lucky Lotus has a way better atmosphere than The Partisans and the bartenders are super nice and chill! My friends started coming on a weekly basis and will continue to do. It specially gets more lit on Thursday nights and their prices are pretty good, unlike the Partisans who charge $12 for a shity drink.Only thing is I wish the place was bigger!!!

By far the best bar in town . There are so many great choices of drinks and they aren't so over charged like other places . The atmosphere is nice and chill. Totally recommend this place when you're in town.

Well we have been here a few times. this is the first time we sat in the bar to eat. Th server for the Thai cuisine was nice enough to offer to bring our food here. I really like this placesI we missed it for so many years I don't know how long they been here but we like the food at the Thai Cuisine 11 place and now the bar is quite intriguing. Did you notice my Pewter Goblet Now you know I feel like I'm 'All That! definitely royalty

Bobby is da shittttt‼‼ He was one of the coolest bartenders so make sure to visit this place . The drinks r yummmy and they didn't hurt my tummyyyy

Hire a new security guard. Chris is a moron. He took my ID and wouldn't give it back. He claimed it was a fake. I had to ask the owner, Bobby, to be brought out to clarify. Cops had to get involved in order to get my ID back. Absolutely ridiculous treatment. I'm 27 btw.

TLDR: $200 in fraudulent charges were put on my card while it was in the owner's possession.Paid for my drinks. Chick working the bar "lost" my card. Called me a liar. INSISTED that I was a liar. "Owner" (Bobby) insisted I was lying. Then, when they realized that they messed up, I got the privilege of paying for my drinks and being called a liar. Nope. Garbage joint. PS: I got charged for 2 other party's drinks (over $100) and whoever had my card bought themselves a $45 meal. Bobby even overcharged me for my drinks and tried to convince me that he was giving me a deal. Bobby tried blowing me off when I called him about these charges. That dude has no sense of responsibility. He just knows how to shift blame. He probably bought dinner on my dime.

Never going back. Owner does not understand how to be nice when a mistake is made by the customer for a spilt drink not the less, a common occurrence for even the most nimble of bodies. Sad day for humanity.
