Lu Granite & Cabinet

Seems that Lu's has gone downhill somewhat which is really unfortunate. This is the 3rd time we've used their company for total kitchen remodels, and the first 2 times were great. Let me clarify that the Visalia store is much more organized as Molly and Albert care, and truly aim to please. Fresno has some issues. We ordered over $5000 worth of cabinets for a remodel, and also $1600 in granite counter tops. We had to rent a Uhaul to pick up the cabinets, and three times we drove from Visalia to Fresno as they forgot additional cabinets, and hardware. In addition, the granite is random pieces and hardly any matching sets at both stores. We paid Lu's to put the cabinets together, but drawers were crooked and ran into each other when opened. We had to pay a contractor to fix these errors that we already paid Lu's for! Positives were that staff were nice and I think new and overwhelmed. Prices are very decent, but you need to stay on top of the entire project.

0 STARS!!! Do not come here. Safe yourself the energy and the disgust this place is horrible the service is horrible the product is horrible. Spend more money and go to apex or something else. Legit the worst I cried at how horrible everything looked. Terrible. This is my countertops they look so shi**y. Two completely different slabs I hate this place!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drew helped me understand different counter tops and price points. Great customer service and knowledgeable team. Lots of options here if you want pre fab slabs.

I did a lot of research before I selected a company to do the granite in my kitchen. Lu was by far the best. Quality products and the least expensive. Rhonda is top notch and very well versed. The nice thing about this place is you get to see first hand and select each piece you want. Most places have you select from samples. Rhonda sent me to the Fresno location as well to hand select some additional pieces to match. You know exactly what you are getting that way.Also, if you can schedule Atia to do the install, he does amazing work. Most people come out and template the work and cut it in the shop and bring it out. He does all cuts onsite. Ensuring perfection. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. The were recommended to me as well.

Very unprofessional, after purchase of granite slab.Phone calls were not returned, even when we were told we would be called. We had to keep trying to call back. This happened many times; it was exhausting and maddening. Our granite was delivered as scheduled, but it didn't fit between our desk/cabinets. The granite install guys were not prepared or able to complete the job. A later appointment with the cabinet maker and the granite guys was completely missed - thank goodness for the awesome cabinet maker that made the granite work! Moral of the story: you get what you pay for, and we wish we had known better, because we like good service and would have paid more for it.

This is a terrible company. I am a contractor that has an account with them and I had my designer go down to the facility in Visalia and she picked out a bunch of countertops and other items. The employees told her that the product would be there waiting for me. When I went down to purchase the product and schedule it to get picked up by my installer, they told me they sold parts of my order. I was furious and they told me there were different pieces of my order available at all their different facilities (Visalia, Bakersfield, and Clovis) and I was more than welcome to drive to all of them to piece together my order. I asked if they could get all the pieces to the Visalia facility and they said they only do transfers from facility to facility on the 1st and 15th. What company can't fix their mistake by getting the materials to the proper facility after they messed up? I asked if they could AT LEAST warranty the material or give me a discount to accommodate for the lost time and fuel to drive all over the valley and they said their was nothing they could do but maybe on the next order. I told them that I have a large amount of count top jobs in the near future and based on their customer service, I will not be going there.Terrible company. I recommend going ANYWHERE else. I will be passing this on to any contractor I know and highly encourage them to go elsewhere as well.

Save yourself a big headache and money by going somewhere else. They are very difficult to work with and will not take responsibility for their mistakes. They don't care about the customer only about the money.

This review is for the Jensen and 99 location in Fresno. I purchased beautiful tile at a huge discount per sq ft. I had it delivered to my home in Coarsegold. Jim the delivery driver was very polite and helpful. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish and would recommend this business to anyone.

This location is closed for remodel. The web site should be updated to reflect the closure. The web site still shows that this location is open.
