We had such an amazing experience at Lozas in Modesto for brunch! Our party of 9 was seated almost immediately. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a fun and inviting vibe, great music, and clean restrooms.Our waitress, Josie, was the absolute best! so sweet, accommodating, and attentive throughout the meal. She made sure we had everything we needed and truly elevated our experience.The food was fantastic! I ordered the fried panko chicken with garlic mash and broccolini. It was cooked perfectly. Crispy, flavorful, and comforting. My one tiny suggestion would be to add a bit more seasoning to the broccolini, but otherwise, everything was spot on.We also enjoyed several carafes and a mimosa flight, and every single drink was delicious. Lozas nailed the balance of great food, drinks, and ambiance.If you're looking for a great spot for brunch, Lozas is a must-try! The combination of great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere makes it a place I'll definitely be returning to.

We've tried it twice and have been bummed and don't want to go back, we'll stick to the Turlock one, it's way better. Cons: - wait time was long to get our food, even though it wasn't busy. - food is medium temperature and looks like it sat for a while. Pro:- Food is tasty and flavorful- Friendly waitresses

We've been in here at least five times, and I had my worst dinner the other night. I had the chicken pasta. Chicken was good but pasta was very dry. I asked for parmesan, and they give you the shaved type which doesn't melt in the pasta.My wife had the Shepherd Pie and absolutely loved it. Friends had the Pork Schnitzel and liked it. Service is excellent, as usual.

Great breakfasts and brunches. Have not tried them for dinner yet. They have their own parking lot, and outdoor seating when the weather is nicer.

Found this on accident tonight. After attempting to eat at a couple other places and finding them closed, we saw this place was open and gave it a try. So glad we stumbled upon it. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and varied, the atmosphere and decor are very nice. (They even have a good selection of hot teas to choose from and a great selection of cocktails.) We will definitely be coming back. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, so lots of opportunities.

Cocktails and food always on point. Ambiance is such a great vibe, beautiful and relaxing. Great place for date night or girls night! They definitely don't rush you, good service.

Fantastic food and beverages! I had the chicken and avocado crepe plus the lavender Lamarca cocktail. The crepe comes with a blue cheese sauce which sounds odd paired with chicken and avocado but I can promise that together it all works somehow, if you like blue cheese already. Loved it and my cocktail! My friend had the avocado toast with balsamic glaze added and it also looked delicious. Service from our waitress was excellent as well.

Man. I hate writing bad reviews and if you look at my past reviews, you know that that is true! I actually love the food here and the service is generally pretty good. The last time I went, though, it was rough!The service was fine, I will give our waitress that much. She was very nice and attentive and we had a large party so naturally it was a lot of work. The food however, big letdown. I ordered a spicy chicken pasta. The name would suggest that yes, it is spicy. However, when ordering a spicy chicken pasta you want to be able to actually CONSUME said pasta. It was not edible in the slightest. It was so spicy that another friend of mine tried it and agreed she would not be able to eat the meal. When I let the waitress know that I did not want to eat the meal she offered me cream to put in an already very creamy dish to calm the spice. I did not want more cream, I wanted either my food to be remade or a different option. I was also, very sassily, told by the waitress that "it's issss a spicy chicken pasta". Yes, I know what I ordered. Two of my friends also ordered spicy chicken sandwiches and they were able to consume the entire meal without any problem because it wasn't going to give them IBS! I was informed that I was not able to receive a new meal nor was I able to have my meal taken off of my tab. The waitress then went and called the owner who suggested a discount of 15% off of my $32 meal (nice gesture I reckon). I was then offered a scoop of plain vanilla ice cream to help make up for my now $28 meal that I didn't actually eat. Not to mention I also HAD to give an exorbitant tip because I was a party of six or more. Look, I get it, in today's economy it's super rough and all of that other garbage that I understand. The problem is is that I was trying something new and was interested in having an opportunity to eat something I don't normally eat here and then was extremely disappointed and not given any grace. Oh other than four dollars off of a $32 meal that I literally couldn't even take home to my husband because I know he would not have enjoyed it eitherAnd then... Let's top it off with....I asked the manager to call me so I can just discuss his policies and let him know that he has lost a very loyal customer and he never called me. Hooooray.
