Lotus Gardens Outdoor Living Center

I had no idea Lotus garden nursery was a literally down the street from my house. I went in for advice on my grass and for assistance to help me because it seems to be dying even though I water it all the time, on my water days of course. After I received advise on my grass, I asked about different trees that I could plant in my front yard. I don't have a large front yard and I needed some thing that had a non-invasive roots. The entire time I was there I was given such wonderful advice and such great suggestions on trees that have non-invasive roots that will not overpower my yard or grow around my water pipes.As soon as I walked in the lotus gardens, I felt so relaxed. It is such a wonderful place to walk around and to shop. The employees are so helpful and so nice. I wish I would've known they were there a long time ago. I will totally be visiting again in the near future. If you have it, then you're really missing out on a little hidden gem .

Great nursery with excellent selection. The 5 stars are really thanks to Matt and his excellent customer service. He's friendly but also extremely knowledgeable. Every question I asked him regarding the plants he was able to answer, he truly has so much knowledge about the plants they sell and that is great to see. He does not try to upsell and simply gives you the facts. Keep it up!

John's intrinsic knowledge of plants, environment, complementing products such as soil/much is deep and critical with planning. I purchased 4 trees and 3 out of 4 are thriving (much better average than in my past).I took advantage of the delivery service with was punctual and convenient. I was able to mosey in, do some knowledge transfer, make my purchase and drive away, everything was delivered!

I've been driving out of the way to go to this nursery for several years now. We've purchased fruit trees, garden vegetables, soil for our garden, and other plants as well. A few things keep me coming back to Lotus Gardens. First, they have always had the plants or supplies I've been looking for, or been able to obtain them quickly without much delay. Whether I'm looking for containers, bulk dirt, fresh veggie or herb six packs for the new season, or floral color spots, new fruit trees, or shrubs for landscaping, Lotus Garden has always had what I was looking for.Second, there's always someone on staff ready and available to answer my questions to help steer me in the right direction when I need a little guidance on the right soil, or which variety of plant would work back in my space. I appreciate that, as it has helped improve the success of each investment I make from this nursery. Third-they have chickens! So if you're looking for some fresh eggs to go with those tomatoes or snap dragons, you're in luck. Stop by, and pick up a few! This is truly a really neat Fresno space!

Very helpful and courteous staff. I wanted to buy a mandarin tree and they pointed me in the right direction and gave me helpful information on various varieties. They helped load my tree and gave me some tips on the care of the tree. They even told me the best way to transport it without damaging the tree. Thanks guys!

Staff was helpful as soon as we walked into the gates! They also checked on us as we were selecting succulents. Their indoor plants are reasonably priced and very well taken care of! The begonia selection was what I came for! Couldn't help myself so I bought 5 different kinds of begonias! Tysm!

Family owned nursery right in the middle of the country. If your not from the the wetern side of of Fresno then you probably have never been to this nursery. It is nestled between a couple of homes right off of the road. They have a large selection of just about anything you could want to plant in your yard. Trees, shrubs, flowers, vegetables, fruit trees, orinimental items, and more. I have purchased almost all of my vegetable plants from them and they are always great producers. This year I purchased a couple of dwarf fruit trees and I cannot wait till they start giving fruit. If you need help figuring out what time of tree or bush is right for you just ask one of their great associates. They have a wonderful knowledge of plants and can lead you in the right direction. They also have a chicken coop and sell fresh layed eggs. This is a great place to shop for all of your plant needs.

Super knowledgeable staff & very reasonable price! I would recommend this nursery to everyone!

Arrived 20 minutes before closing time and the gates are locked. Update your hours if you aren't going to be open. Waste of my time.
