Without any exception, the food is somewhere between miserable and horrible. Carne asada...as sad as it gets. One star is too high. The service is good, the beer is cold and the music is good.

Great food! The best homemade Mexican food, especially the albondigas! So good, just like my mom made it. Val gives friendly, personable service and aims to make the customer satisfied. This was evident when a friend sent her drink back twice. Val was gracious to make sure my friend got the drinks she enjoyed. Happy hour appetizers are plentiful and flavorful. We tried a few items on the menu and left with a good overall impression.

Looked like a nice place to go too, but honestly the beer choices weren't it for me and the nachos reminded me of something that would be used for commercials AKA fake food. The chili Verde wasn't good. The waitresses were sweet though! But the food wasn't it.

I've been there before but I haven't been there in quite a while because I have other places that I frequent for various reasons the people the bartender the food etc. but I stopped back in here after going to the library nearby and had a chat with the bar girl sorry I forgot your name I apologize very nice and accommodating went and got me chips and salsa I wasn't going to eat just to have a beer stop by to say hello hadn't been there a while ended up getting a taco and it's a different kind of a tacos I've ever had before but it was tasty and I hope you get some live entertainment the last time I was there there was a band and there was a lot of people so good luck on your future business and you're just about a mile away from my house so I'll be by again another time

Went in on a Monday night with some friends for MNF. Place was pretty dead save for 4-5 people at the bar (one who "approved" my entry because I was wearing a 49ers hat. Ha!). Service was lacking a bit. One person working the bar and the tables, but she was nice. Beers were decent. Food was just ok. Ordered carne asada nachos which quickly became soggy because of the mixture of the beans and salsa. Also got a carne asada burrito which was ok. Don't think the meat was very fresh. The place doesn't look a lot different from the previous restaurant. They did have a nice TV display on the back wall that they put the game on, but half of the TVs were turned off. It looked like they had equipment for live music (which I've seen on their IG) tucked away in the empty spaces in the corner. The TouchTunes Jukebox was pretty loud and kind of taking away from the experience of watching the game. It's hard to tell if they're trying to be a sports bar (which the name suggests) or a Mexican restaurant, or a live music venue. I've only been once (and might be willing to try again) but it wouldn't be my first choice for watching sports and food.

No review....it's due! =) Very nice bar! Clean, safe and practiced! Greeted upon walking in. They just got their liquor license so the liquor is on the way! They don't have certain kinds yet ! They still have a lot of other kinds! I ordered a Diet Coke. ****I apologize a "kind" Yelper helped me out! Copied per usual! LOL! Clearly, they serve alcohol, I was given a shooter to try. Certain alcohol like different wines, they are still in the process of getting! FYI EVERYONE! =) XoThe worker is very kind and welcoming. Easy to talk to! I ended up ordering the shrimp ceviche with grilled chicken on the side too! There are TVs everywhere! Large and small. Baseball playing on the TV! Yes! =) Laid back and really nice atmosphere! Chatted to the owner about the place and she's great! Easy to talk to too! Soda refilled by the great worker as soon as it got low. My food came shortly later and looked really great! Wow! Also asked for hot sauce to spice it up. The shrimp ceviche was amazingly delicious! Really fresh and tasty! The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly and really Fantastic too! Impressed with this place! Of course the hot sauce spiced it up and made it even better! Delicious! The owner happily offered me a free shooter to try. How could you not? I tried the watermelon and Malibu shooter and it was really Fantastic! Smooth! They deserve every star on service, food and drinks! Highly recommended!!!

Tried Locked in for the first time. Came in around 7pm and was immediately seated. There was a live band playing some good hits. My table tried: bacon wrapped shrimp plate (beans & rice), volcano taco, shrimp & fish tacos, asada fries and dessert nachos. For drinks we had a michelada and mai tais. The waitress was wonderful with clearing plates and keeping drinks filled. My favorite was the volcano taco. The bacon wrapped shrimp is not what I was use to due to their size. Dessert nachos hit the spot after dinner. I would definitely be back again.

This was the best place I've been to in such a long time great tacos it was so much fun and the bartender was super nice it's a must try I will be back
