Liv's Donuts

Liv's donuts has some of the best donuts I've tried here so far !!! There donut holes , cake donuts , and glazed donuts are always fresh and yummy. The Apple fritter here is also one of my fave places to get Apple fritters . It is huge , dense , and perfectly crispy on the outside . Come early because by noon they will be out of most selection of baked goods!

I think this might be my new favorite donut spot in Clovis. It's got that traditional old-school donut shop vibe and the customer service is amazing. I popped in here around noon with my daughter to grab a post park doughnut. They were pretty cleaned out by this point, but my daughter still found a few treats to eat. We ordered a half dozen and some donut holes. The highlight for me was the chocolate frosted and chocolate filled square donut and the cruller. My daughter loved her sprinkle donut and we surprised my son with a lucky charms donut which he inhaled! For getting these donut so late in the day; I was very surprised by how soft and fresh these donuts tasted. Even the next day, they were still very soft. Because they were closing soon the worker here gave us a free donut and a mountain of donut holes. Thank you, sir!

I showed the business a photo of what I was wanting for my gender reveal, and they recreated them perfectly! Donuts were so cute and so delicious. Turn around time is super quick as well; they only require a couple day's notice.

Great breakfast croissant, but you'll have to beat the crowd for them. Ambiance is clean and roomy.

It's like biting into a cloud. Got 2 dozen donuts and wow the glazed donut is so soft and fluffy. Probably the best glazed donut I've had in a long time. I didn't try the others, but my sisters said they were all great. I passed by this place on a Saturday around 1-2pm and they were sold out. Luckily the next day around 730am they still had donuts left.

I arrived 30 minutes before they were open so I can get donuts and arrive on time for work. According to their business hours, they are supposed to be open and ready at 6 am. Employees arrived 15 minutes laughing and seemed high on substance after opening time and asked to see if they were ready for service.they told me to wait another 15 minutes for them to open up and left laughing again. Would not shop here again due to rude employees customer service. For the employee not realizing that they were 15 minutes and laughing it off as if it's nothing wrong. I didn't not get the donuts and left for work because I didn't want to be more late than needed.

The process to order was easy. I called and explained what I wanted. She asked for specific details for colors and frosting. It was very easy to order. I didn't get a confirmation or anything, so I just noted down who I spoke with. That week, I did get a phone call that the baker at the location I called was going to be out but I could have my ordered prepared at the other location which was fine with me. Overall, the donuts looked great and my 3 year old loved it. She recognized her name which was neat. The letters are numbers are much larger than they appear so definitely a shareable donut.

I did a custom order of Letter Donuts from here. I was happy to find out you can call in your order over the phone. I was also happy to find out they could do an order for the next day (woohoo!). I'm sure this also has to do with availability too, so I'd suggest calling ahead a couple days, just in case. The prices were pretty reasonable at about $2 per letter donut. They can customize what colors/flavors of donuts you want, which I appreciated. (The overall taste was a typical donut.) The one thing I was bothered by, was the times to pick up the custom order. First, I was asked what time I would like to pick up the order, and when I made a suggestion, I was then told, "Oh well this is a custom order you can't pick up at that time. It has to be later." So for me, if you are going to only have certain times available for pick up for custom orders- you need to tell the customer, before they order, that pick up times for custom orders are from 10:00am to 12:00pm, or something like that. This way you don't leave it open for me to tell you a time, then say that is no good, especially because, what if I was not available during that time?So we settled on a time frame of 11am-12pm for pick up time. The day of pick up, I was contacted at 11:25am, saying they already ran out of donuts and were closing and if I were going to be there soon. This was NOT OKAY with me. (Especially when your listed hours are until 4pm. Side note: Owners please change your official listed hours.) I understand that they probably have other stuff to do, we all do, but again, they agreed with me- the customer- when I told them I would be there between 11-12! So calling me about where I was, was just a way to tick me off. If that had not happened, I probably would have given an extra star, because the pricing, ease of order, accuracy of order and taste were Fan-worthy! Unfortunately, it's the little things. I am willing to try again to give them another chance later to see how it goes. If you need a custom order at a good price though- my order did come out cute and it is definitely a special way to go with desserts. (Oh and be careful with the box-it's like a customized box-so it got a little flimsy with us, I would suggest like a thick poster board/flat cardboard box to carry it with.)

Horrible customer service, extremely rude. This was my go to spot but the poor customer service is becoming a norm. So sad, the younger girl who I'm assuming is family is so rude. We showed up at opening and waited 20 min,left, came back and asked what time they open for future reference. She gave the time we showed up and we told her we were there and she rudely told us she felt like 'sleeping in'. Unfortunately her attitude is a common reoccurrence. Will find another donut shop.
