Livingstone's Restaurant & Pub

Livingstones is still a great local place to hang out and eat. Good drinks - they can make anything, craft and local beer on tap. Good food overall, offering all the basics in appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and specials featuring prime rib, steaks, fish. Sitting inside is ok but I prefer the patio which isn't fancy but allows for lots of people watching. There are heat lamps for the colder temps. Be warned that people smoke on the patio and it could easily bother you. Livingstones seems especially precious since we lost Sequoia. May they live long and prosper.

I recently dined at Livingstone's in Fresno before heading to Nate Jackson's show, and my experience was just okay. While the service was fast and we were seated within 10 minutes, the food didn't quite impress me. I found the pasta to be bland, which was a bit disappointing. However, the jalapeño poppers were a highlight and definitely worth trying! Overall, it was a convenient spot to grab dinner with friends, but I'd recommend exploring other menu options if you're looking for something more flavorful.

Food was good...I had a burger, hubs had prime rib. Both were ok, nothing crazy special.Our server was great! She was so busy yet gave us enough attention.The big issue here was the noise! Music was so loud you had to yell to talk. The bar isn't blocked off from dining and there were some loud groups (which is ok in itself) but turning the music up to cover the chatter isn't going to solve anything

Pretty good service. Great drinks.. but the best is the desserts. The homemade cheesecake is awesome. Never seen it down that way.

Our server was so nice. The food was ok. For a pub it was good. I got the San Francisco burger which was a burger with grilled onions and jack cheese on Sourdough. I didn't get a drink but this a popular pub in the tower district to get a drink. The ambiance is clean and nicely decorated right now for Halloween.

3/17/24Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! This is perfect place to pick up lunch! I called & ordered the Deluxe Dip with no mayo & onion rings. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I went in to get it shortly later.Great, calm place! Nice bar when you walk in. Greeted and directed to go pick up in the back. Shortly later, greeted by Jewels and she was Great. All decorated in St. Patrick's attire! Order was ready & handed over after I paid with good day wishes! Appreciated! Lunchtime! Order split! Sandwich 1/2 was Fantastic! Great flavor with a good amount of meat & cheese with the deluxe adds make making it even better! Onion rings were Great too! Crunchy & DELICIOUS! Mother said hers was Great too! Great service & great lunch! Highly recommended!

Wonderful staff, great ambiance, and really good food! Been here several times, but my favorite is the ravioli.

Great place! I've been here three times. Twice for food and once in the bar for snacks and drinks. Easy - free parking. The food is very good - cooked properly! The service was excellent! The facilities were very clean. Staff are very friendly, kind and professional. The drinks were great! The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable!! The bar area is a little noisy but it's possible to easily carry on a conversation without say 'what!?!' all the time! It's my new 'go to' place when I want to meet folks out somewhere casual. The only downside is that drinks are a little expensive but you get a really nice drink!! Ask the bartender about peanut butter whisky drinks!! Yum!!

I ordered the prime rib. Everything was delicious! Their house salad is perfect with a splash of olive oil, vinegar, and a sprinkle of dry blue cheese!The waitress made the dining experience complete.The inside dining area is more on the romantic side. I like the choice between inside and outside dining.The music was not what I expected.I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend.

Strong drinks ! Good food. If you're bar hopping around tower, stop by here ! They have nice bathrooms and a chill patio too
