Want a green swimming pool these are the guys to hire worst service around they break parts in the filter and blame it on your equipment claim if they clean your filter it will fix the problem over a month and a half of green water finally fired them new guys came in and the very next day water was crystal clear and has been crystal clear since maybe if they hired some people that didn't break parts in the pump and wrap black electrical tape around it hiding the fact they broke it it would work properly

Four years ago, I purchased my Polaris Quattro Sport sweep from them. After a few years, there were issues with the sweep. The sweep would never go straight, only curve to the right. The palm nuts would get stuck in the gears and cause damage. They replaced the parts and were very fair with the price. A month ago, same issue. Took it to Lifeguard for service. Kirt helped me out. A few days later, Angie calls and says the sweep is ready for pick-up. They disassembled the pool sweep, cleaned it, got it going straight and charged me nothing for their time! Unfortunately, the cleaning did not last long and there was damage to the gears. I was told the repairs would be a substantial amount of money. So instead, they sold me a Polaris Quattro Sport at a cost cheaper than the replacement parts. Do I trust them, yes! They have had opportunities to sell me things I do not need. And they don't. They suggest and let me decide what's best for me. I will continue to do business with Kirt and Angie at Lifeguard Pool Service!

I had hired them when I first moved into my house, right away they tried selling me things I didn't need (expensive things) but they kept my pool clean at first. After 6 months or so I noticed a lot of algae and stains. I would notice the technician would show and leave in less than 5 min. So I looked up my cameras and noticed the guy would come in "scrub" 2 or 3 spots add chlorine and leave. Never actually checking the levels. I called to complain and was told in a very condescending tone "you want the whole pool scrubbed?" According to their own advertising they scrub, check level and clean the skimmer basket. They didn't change their ways as the very next week he came and left again this time in less than 4 min. So I called to cancel and I obviously made them mad by complaining, they didn't offer a solution or even care to view the evidence. Better off with Nevergreen or Tulare pool supply.

No one showed up to clean the pool but the bill was sent to us every month. Several calls went unanswered, Camera's never showed anyone there. Suddenly one day the camera went on and I rushed home to find a young man from the company dumping chemicals in my pool after I had cancelled the service. He even said the company was unreliable!!

Horrible!! I recently cancelled my service with Kirk. This year my pool has been swamp green and the few times it was somewhat clear it was cloudy. I tried numerous times to reach out to Kirk, the owner, I tried emails and calls and never got a call back or respond. I finally cut my ends and posted a bad review and surprise surprise Kirk calls me. He claims he send his workers numerous times to my house and they service my pool 3-4 times in a 3 week period yet they left no reports and failed to communicate with me. Lifeguard had me pay for numerous filter cleanings and ran my pump for 14+ hours a day. My new pool guy immediately discovered that the filter parts weren't properly assembled and it was missing a piece. Something Kirk fail to communicate. Kirk blamed it on a berry tree we have, he never took responsibility for his half ass work they performed. The right thing for this company to do is to at least reimburse me on the non-necessary filter cleaning since it was their fault that they weren't assembling them back properly. Take it from me this company needs to retrain their entire staff. Their lack of communication is very disrespectful and unprofessional!!

I always tend to have high expectations of the businesses I work with. I expect top-notch service and follow-up. Lifeguard Pool Service had to spend a few days at my house getting my pool equipment and slate ready for summer enjoyment. The job was very well done and I am very happy with their work. I trust them and will only use them for all future needs.

Do not use these guys!! We had Lifeguard replace our pump a few years ago and we told them exactly which model we wanted after having the system inspecting by a different company. They told me they didn't have that one in stock but that they had another one that was the same, just a different brand. We looked up the reviews for that pump and they were good, so we said ok. Three years later and we cannot keep our pool clear to save our lives. It's is green constantly so we finally hired a professional about 9 months ago, and he can't keep it clear either, and after exhausting all other possible causes he has determined that the pump is not powerful enough for the volume of water. So now we get to spend another $1300 to replace it when the correct size pump should have been put in in the first place. Additionally, about a year ago our pump stopped working one day so we called Lifeguard to come look at it. We're no experts, but even my husband and I could tell it was an electrical issue and wasn't anything that had to do with the pump itself, but 2 days later we were e-mailed and estimate for anew pool pump. What the heck?? I don't even think they came out to look at it because I was home all day both days and I never saw them. We asked our handyman neighbor to look at it, and he fixed a few wires in the breaker box and it started right up. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! We have spent hundreds of dollars on pool chemicals and filter replacements, not to mention hours upon hours of time, trying to keep our pool from looking like a swamp thanks to this company.
