You just can't get a more authentic Chinese food in Madera than from Lee. Easy way to tell is whether they have Chinese written on the menu. In additional to all those same old Americanized Chinese food they also have other authentic options like 水煮鱼,辣子鸡,京都骨,星洲炒米粉. Also Great service and environment.

Driving through town and decided to try this spot out. I could tell this place is a local favorite by the amount of people eating there on a Monday after the lunch rush. And the food and service did not disappoint. Definitely worth a try!

2 Order of steamed rice .....,,gave me 1 day old rice which is only suited for fried rice. Totally disappointed and had to make fresh steamed rice which is a staple for all Asians. Even the war wanton soup was not fresh. Will not go back again !!!

Great food, great service; consistent and they have good portions. The Chow Mien is very tasty, the Broccoli Beef I like the crunchy Broccoli and not too soggy! The people make the place; I'm a regular when I come back from my travels to the area.

3.5 stars rounded to 4.we ordered veggie chow mein, veggie egg rolls & chicken fried rice for take out. customer service was excellent ordering over phone & at pick up. packaging was sealed tight & well.the veggie chow mein was a bit bland, and tasted a bit watered down but it made good leftovers for next day.the veggie eggrolls were SO good. cooked fresh, tasty & perfect.the chicken fried rice tasted like it needed more seasoning & the chicken felt like it could have been cooked a little longer. all in all, a nice convenient meal for takeout.

First time here and they really impressed! This is a mom & pop Chinese restaurant, place is old but it is clean. Environment-There are plenty of tables, you may pick your seat and the servers are quick to hand you a menu. The service was fast and very friendly. Majority of other tables were older couples but the restaurant was lively with many laughters. Price-Great value!! The portion sizes were huge and around $11-15 for dinner plates (less for lunch). They have family style soups that come out in a huge bowl and was $12.99 and was plenty to share plus take home. They take cash & cards (no American Express).Food-Tasty and authentic. I ordered kung pao chicken and my fiancé ordered the orange chicken both with pork fried rice. We each got two large scoops of fried rice with plenty of pork and it tasted great, seasoned well and wasn't greasy. The fried rice did not have vegetables. The KUNG PAO CHICKEN, was a 8 out of 10, I would have given it a 10 but it was a bit too salty for my taste. The chicken itself is definitely a 10, it was tender and super soft. They use white chicken meat and fresh vegetables. The ORANGE CHICKEN was a 9 out of 10. It was crispy and really flavorful, not too sweet and enough tanginess. The batter ratio to chicken was perfect. HOT & SOUR SOUP was a 10/10!! Normally hot and sour soup comes with more eggs as fillers, but this soup was packed with ingredients- they did not skim out! Major points for using ear wood mushrooms and having a lot of it within the soup. The carrots are thinly sliced and tender, the bamboo shoots were soft and tasted delicious. The soup had the perfect consistency too (this soup is meant to be on the thicker side.)Hope you guys try it out, enjoy!

I've had dinner here sever times but the last couple of times I've eaten here. I've come away with stomach cramps, nausea and dysentery. I think that the oil that they fry the food in is not fresh or clean. Also the chicken in the soups appears to be undercooked. The original owners were great, but these new owners that have bought the business are not. So I strongly suggest if you eat here you do so at your own risk.

Food was great! I been wanting to try this place for a couple years now. My only complaint is some of the non tradition filler veggies in these 2 dishes next time ill just ask them to leave those out but food was great! Flavorful, hot, fresh, I'm honestly sad i did t start going here sooner! The staff were very nice and friendly. Not a whole in the wall per say but for the area its a hole in the wall gem

This has to be the best Chinese place I've been to in the madera area thats cheap and gives you a ton of food. Its always busy with to go orders we always eat in which is nice, usually only ones in there. Everything is amazing and tastes great. The staff is always friendly and have no problem answering questions about items. it is definitely a must try inside is quiet tv plays Chinese version of American idol or the voice.
