First time trying this place. So glad I did. I ordered the pork belly Banh Mi. The bread was crunchy outside and soft inside. Perfect vessel for the pork belly and the rest of the veggies inside. Sandwich was not skimpy on the meat and toppings. I saw them making everything to order. Waited maybe five minutes. Great place

Nice Vietnamese Restaurant right next to Planet Fitness to get a good meal after a workout. Good selection of specialty drinks, bowls and banh mi. I chose the #1 Saigon Special for my post workout meal. Good flavor and filling. Service was excellent and helpful regarding menu items. Large dining area to relax and enjoy your meal.

I love banh mi and have been ordering different places around town and in So Cal/Anaheim so I have a good idea what a good banh mi tastes like.Service:This review is based on a to go order. I didn't get to experience in it's entirety but the person who assisted me was kind. 4 of 5 starsFood:Ordered the #2 Grilled Pork to pick up but upon getting back to the office, I was given the #1 Saigon Special. No biggie as I usually order similar banh mis that mirror the Saigon Special. The meat was not fresh at all, drier than usual, not evem spread can mask the meat. The bagette was also hard, at least a day old or so. After a few bites, I had to start picking away the rough parts of the sandwhich so I can at least eat the rest of it. On top of getting my order wrong, this is easily bottom 3 banh mis I've ever had. 2 of 5 starsOverall:This place is clean and welcoming. But in regards to my order, maybe they were busy thus messing up my order or the ingredients were just off that day, who knows. I might give this place another shot but not in the near future.

I was pleasantly surprised with this Vietnamese sandwich shop. I stopped by one afternoon on the weekday and it was dead (no customers) but I was quickly greeted by the cashier. I ordered a pork belly banh mi and a traditional banh mi. Despite it being slow, it did take a long time for them to make the banh mi which I have to dock 0.5 point for. It looked like the cook was taking his sweet time assembling our sandwiches. When I took it home to eat, the traditional banh mi had soaked through the wrapper which was a good sign for me that it was juicy (perhaps a little too juicy). Upon first bite, I could taste the pate which is one of my fav parts of a traditional banh mi. They were generous with the pate which I really like! The meat was also a good portion size. The only thing I'd like more of was cucumber and cilantro. The size/length of the sandwich was quite big compared to other banh mi places so it was definitely worth the price! The pork belly banh mi was really good too! The pork belly was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. I do however prefer the traditional banh mi because it has more flavor. You can't go wrong with either choice. The only con about the sandwich was the bread. It was hard and tough, a little hard to bite and chew without it cutting up my gums. I will say most banh mi bread is like this however I prefer a softer fluffier bread inside and crispy just on the outside. The bread quality could be better so docking another 0.5 point. Overall, I would come here again to try their other sandwiches and drinks. I would recommend you try!

This may be the best damn tofu banh mi I've ever had!! Every time I visit family, I have to stop and grab Banh mis. As vegan I just get it without mayo, still verrrryyyy good and not dry at all. Music is super cute- today is 70s and 80s classic bops like grease and reo speedwagon. Just wish door dash didn't hike up the price of the items. To save every penny- order at the counter. Worth it!

Fantastic banh mi sandwich. I had come here previously for the boba because my kids like it and for $4.50 for boba and it's good. I'm happy to support. I came here this time for a chicken banh mi. Unlike some other places this was grilled seasoned chicken and not shredded. The chicken was seasoned the right way. It was loaded with the pickled vegetables, and the bread was toasted just right. It had the right crunch. The sandwich was about a foot long. This was under $10. Yes please, I will have another really soon.

Picked up dinner on our way home. Greeted as we entered. The lady at the register was very kind. My husband and I ordered 2 sandwiches (#1 Saigon Special & #2 Grilled bbq pork) and chow mein all to go. They were quick to make our order. Portions were large. The chow mein was delicious it had so much flavor though my husband said he saw it was frozen... not sure how they made it but it tasted pretty good. I also enjoyed my bbq pork though I felt there was a bit too much mayo and the meat was alittle salty for my taste. But I thought the sandwich was huge and great for the price compared to competitors. The bread was hard but since we took it home we threw it in the toaster oven and it wasn't too bad after. My husband thought his sandwich was just okay. The restaurant was really warm idk if it was just really hot or their ac wasn't working but they did have a huge fan on so that helped cooled us down from the triple digit weather. They have self serve silverware and complimentary water cups. I would definitely come back to try the other sandwiches and dishes they offer.

So I tried a bite of my daughter's sandwich a few weeks ago. Hadn't had a banh mi in years. The small bite was very good. We decided to do this on a whim. Ordered the number 6, Crispy Pork Belly, 4 piece chicken egg rolls and a Mexican Coke. What I liked: pork belly was good. Really liked the crispy bits. Liked the pickled veggies. Liked the military discount. The not so good: bread was really too tough. I had an expectation that it would be crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. It wasn't. Overall the sandwich was good and was priced right. Hoping the bread issue was a fluke.Egg rolls were a bit of a disappointment given the $8 price tag.

Wife had brought a sandwich home & I was amazed how huge it was. So I knew we had to dine in person to enjoy it better fresh!Did not disappoint. Yummy & fresh sandwiches! Bread was toasted how I like it. More like a baguette rather than a hoagie. Flavor was on point for the #1 sandwich in the menu. And of course, look how big the thing is. I could only eat half & saved the other half for later :)Staff were nice. Decor was cute. I liked the glass partitions where you can see them preparing your food. We'll return to try other items!
