The people who work in The Law Offices of Paul Smith are INCREDIBLY rude. My car accident happened on December 18th of 2016, and I received my thousand dollar settlement during the first week of March, 2017. After not hearing from the attorney's office for nine months after the accident, I gave them a call. And THEN they dug out my case. I was told that it was my responsibility to collect my bills from the hospital (which went into collections because it took so long for them to notify the hospital that it was pending a lawsuit), retrieve my medical and physical therapy records, and the doctors note from the 2 weeks off that I took due to the accident. After doing so I still was not compensated for the time off that I had to take off because Farmer's insurance required more proof than the original copy of my doctors note and I wasn't informed of that until after the negotiation began, when it was too late. Not only did they put in minimal effort and time, but any updates or information that was gathered was done so by myself because it was a nuisance and an inconvenience for them to give me a phone call to give me an update on where my case stood, and every single time I did, I was given terrible attitude by the ladies at the desk. If you are in a minor car accident and are looking for a personal injury attorney, I would highly recommend you steer very clear of the offices of Paul Smith.
