Laura Duncan

Laura was my piano teacher when I was in 4th grade back in 2014. I spent 6 1/2 years with her until my junior year where I decided that I must focus on school. Although, I was a naive kid who didn't know much she made me enjoy piano and changed my life by helping me adapt to changes and learn pieces of genres I didn't know I liked. I spent 1 year learning the basics 2 years of jazz 2 on classical and the last year learning what I felt like. She created an open space for me to create my own motivation to play piano for myself and enjoy playing. I thought practicing was a chore but I realized in my 2nd year I just love piano. She's one of those teachers where if you have a worst subject in school she'll make it your favorite. Thank You Laura for giving me the gift of music!

Laura is an amazing piano teacher. Our son Liam started taking lessons with Laura several years ago and she truly helped him enjoy piano and gave him the encouragement he needed to pursue what has now become a passion of his. We highly recommend Laura to anyone with kids who are already interested in piano or who they feel might be interested. She is always fun, smiling and really wants her students to enjoy themselves while they learn. You cannot go wrong with Laura!
