Las Espuelas Carniceria and Taqueria

This place is great. Food, service, selection, cleanliness's- all excellent. We got tacos, burritos, quesadilla, drinks and snacks for the road.

*Cooked fly in our food.*We loved this place so much (and went 2 times) and the last time we went we were so incredibly disappointed to find a fly in our food (torta de asada to be specific). When we walked in, we notice a lack of ventilation, and a lot of flies around the kitchen, but we never thought they'd be in our food. I immediately called the restaurant and told them about the incident and they refused to give me my money back for all the food that I had purchased. I purchased $57 worth of food and the owner refused to give us anything beyond the money we spent on the torta. We purchased, 7 tacos, 1 burrito, 1 torta and couldn't eat our food because all of them were cooked with asada (which had this dead fly in it). Save your money, and don't go here.

One of my favorite places to eat, and a good variety of groceries at a decent price that's not forget when we need a pan to make tamales or the burner to cook outside we can find those there as well. Thank you to everyone at Las Espuelas your awesome!

Burritos are like $12 bucks each. Rather pricy for being so spicy in which some couldn't even be eaten. The pico was too spicy even though I asked three times if it was spicy and was told no. Took a big ass bite and almost died it was so hot. I just can't handle the heat like I used to. :( We asked for refried beans inside the burrito but received whole beans, Service was pleasant despite the pico being too spicy issue. The joint is rather small but the place houses a Carniceria which was pretty busy so it's cramped. Anyhow wasn't bad but wasn't great.

Yeehaw for good small town eats. Our rowdy crew came to Woodlake for the annual Mother's Day rodeo, and was hosted by a friend who grew up in Woodlake. He said these breakfast burritos were GOOD, and they did not disappoint. There's an array of meats that you can add, including a really flavorful chorizo. The highlight though, is the roasted whole jalapeño.

They have the best sopes in town. Carne Asada was fresh and you taste that they grill it. Wonderful selection and the breakfast burrito is amazing.

Their food is very good and tasty and for sure their service one of the greatest, and I know the place speaks for itself because it is always busy

La comida esta bien si saves de comida mexicana. El precio es alto pero no es culpa de Ellos es de el govierno que inpone tantos inpuestos y regulaciones que tienen que suvir los precios para sobrevivir en California

Great quality food. Try there Asada burrito & you wont be disappointed! Enough for two!
